Not what you think it is
In the picture it showed nice maintained outside. No one mowed nor weed eated the property and fines were a trip hazard. Not enough room for 10 people to sit and there were only three glassed. this space was supposed to accommodate 10 people. Too small for 10 people to be there at one time. It was very nice on the inside and didn't like the fact that the upstairs bedroom loft over looked the main bedroom downstairs.

Jacks Peak
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Jacks Peak was a great place to stay. Narrow streets for big trailers but we made it work. Good amount of space for a big group. Upstairs gets a little hot during the hot summer months. Could use another AC unit upstairs. Our group would stay there again.

Good location, and amenities. poorly managed
Large kitchen with ample amenities. Great location, just off the main rd to deadwood. Beds were very comfortable. This property could be amazing with good management/owner/maintenance. I'll keep the negative short. My email said to contact owner or son eith any cproblems. We got locked in after entering. I immediately contacted all # given to me. The "son" was a pompis prick, treated me like i was an idiot who couldnt use a door knob. . Tried to communicate but was just treated very poorly, and gave up. The loft is open to the 2 main bedrooms. Very creapy! The back door opens to a steep drop off. There is garbage everywhere behind the house and no outdoor space aside from the entrance. Most things barely work like dishwasher, dryer, toilets. amd

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great! We enjoyed the short distance to Deadwood and spent every night down there. The driveway is pretty narrow and is very steep, just want people to know if you have a long trailer it will drag and will be hard to back, back out. We did have a mouse problem but the host was quick at getting us some traps to catch the pest. The house could use a good cleaning, especially under the furniture, lots of mouse droppings everywhere. The main door needs fixed, isn't secured the best. Overall it was fine.

Thank!
We all had a blast but I noticed a few things about the property. The downstairs toilet didn’t work and smelt very bad so we left the door closed. There was a few cracks in the upstairs bedroom door. Just stuff that I didn’t want to deal with.
