About this property
Original RMNP Riverfront Cabin on the Thompson River
You can’t stay any closer to the river because it’s no longer allowed. Little Twig is a charming original cabin that was once located inside Rocky Mountain National Park and was moved in the 1940s to its current riverfront setting on the edge of the Thompson River. Today, it sits just minutes from the Beaver Meadows entrance to RMNP and downtown Estes Park. Fish just steps from your cabin.
Wake to the gentle sound of the river flowing past your door, sunlight filtering through the pine trees, and crisp mountain air welcoming you to the heart of the Rockies. This is a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect—with nature, with loved ones, and with the simple pleasures of life. Welcome to Little Twig.
Slow down and introduce your loved ones to the outdoors the way generations before once did.
ABOUT THE CABIN
This thoughtfully updated rustic cabin features two double beds, comfortably sleeping two to four guests. Enjoy your own private fire pit and breathtaking views of scenic water and nature, towering pine trees, and local wildlife.
Spend your days fishing right outside your door, firing up the grill, throwing darts, or challenging loved ones to a friendly game of cornhole on the grounds. The cabin includes internet, Roku TV for streaming, a Keurig coffee maker, and a fully stocked kitchen—everything you need for a comfortable and cozy stay.
Please note: Little Twig does not have a hot tub. If a hot tub is important to your stay, several of our other cabins offer that feature.
Upon booking, you will receive a welcome message with a PDF version of our Welcome Guide. Please be sure to review it for check-in details and tips to make the most of your stay.
