We had one of our best family vacations at Felicity in Somerset Village. 2 adults and 3 children ages 5,6 & 11 and had space to spare. Our 11 year old had his own "apartment" as would say, and it was a great reprieve for him to get away from his sisters. The little private beach was the perfect way to start the day or rent Kayaks and paddleboards and make a day of it. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything needed to save some money by cooking half our meals at home, primarly breakfast and some dinners. We enjoyed dinner and drinks out front overlooking the bay and watched cruise ships come and go while our girls played in the yard. We rented kayaks & a motorboat from H20 next door, super convenient and so much fun. If you want luxury, by all means, spend 1K/night at the Princess or Cambridge resort next door. If you want the perfect setting for an affordable family vacation on the West end of the island, this is the place. A couple of tips... If using Hitch for taxis, message them and tell them you are between Cambridge Beaches resorts and H20 watersports, most go right to the resort and may cancel if they cant find you. The ferry to Hamilton and St Georges is the best way to get to those parts of the isalnd, take a taxi to the Dockyard. 100% line up your airport cab at least the day before as the host says. Hit the Marketplace in Somerset on your way in for provisions, its just far enough that you want a ride with a full order.
