Fabulous Family Getaway!
PRIVATE LIGHTED FISHING PIER AND BOAT SLIP

This awesome family home has 5 bedrooms and 2 and a half bathrooms, sleeping 16 Adults! Beautifully and comfortably furnished with relaxation in mind. The open kitchen, dining and living areas are big enough for the entire family to gather together and enjoy the upper and lower open patio overlooking the pool, fishing pier, and the intercoastal.

The upstairs master suite has a king bed, full bath, and large walk-in closet. Both guest bedrooms upstairs come with queen beds. There is a full-size bathroom in the hallway between both rooms. The downstairs bedroom to the right has a queen bed, the room to the right there are 4 full size bunk beds sleeping up to 8 adults. Ground level living room and bar area includes a large couch, TV, and bar perfect for entertaining. Ground level also includes a half bathroom that gives you the feel of being on the Texas coast.

Outside there is a covered patio area with ample amounts of seating for outside dinning. Enjoy the beautiful pool with the spectacular water views while family members fish off of the lighted deck. Do you have a Boat? This amazing property includes a private boat slip as well as a fish cleaning station for guest to use while visiting.

The beautiful kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. There is a washer and dryer for your use. Wi-Fi is available.

Beautiful location

The location of the property was amazing. The views of the water from the house and the porch were breathtaking. We were disappointed with the number of issues/deficiencies with the property. Just the short list: Only one of the double ovens worked, neither ice maker was functional, there was dried paint in the kitchen sink (which was pretty gross), the shower downstairs was padlocked closed (so there was no shower for all of the guests downstairs -- so the house ended up being 2 full baths and a 1/2 bath), and there were a lot of bugs downstairs. The pool motor failed before we arrived and the repair contractor was not able repair. Fishing off of the dock was fun and the resident dolphin and heron were fun to watch. All in all, it is a beautiful location. At this price point, I expected a property that was better maintained. The property manager, who was responsive, indicated that the property was going through a sale, so hopefully the issues that we experienced can be corrected before the next guest.

Needs Pest Control

I was disappointed with the house and pool. The people who clean are not cleaning the pool. It was turning green. We had roaches all weekend that we were killing. The floors on the second floor is coming up. Sliding door to second floor is rotting, it needs to be replaced. Coastal Management are not doing their job to keep up this place. It is a beautiful house but neglected very badly.

Not Ready for Guests

Too many maintenance deficiencies to list. Management company never responded to our texts and VRBO messages about broken items so we had to leave early. I am a regular VRBO client and have always had great experiences but this experience was disheartening. I still have received no questions or follow up from anyone even though I notified them we were leaving early because things didn’t work and we couldn’t cook in a dysfunctional kitchen. -ice maker didn’t work and smelled of mold and had visible mold. No ice trays or ability to make ice. Refrigerator ice maker didn’t work. -Ovens broken with error codes. Not working. Management company would not respond to request to send maintenance. -Stovetop range worked but exhaust fan broken so heat and smell was too much to use cooktop. - Outdoor Grill had never been cleaned and had no propane. Spent 2 hours going to hardware store to get supplies to clean grill and buy propane. - Downstairs TV’s did not work at all and we are very technically competent -outdoor dining area had no lights because a large birdnest was in the light and had been there a long time -something wrong with internet because speed was so slow we couldn’t check e-mail on phone or computer and could barely pull up a web page that timed out. Unresponsive management company. -one of the landings on the front steps was broken. Very dangerous. My granddaughter fell in the hole in the broken step. -on Saturday the landscaping company cut the grass and blew off patio and spread debris and leaves and dirt all over the outdoor furniture and our golf clubs -quality of pots, pans and kitchen knives, and silverware were low end quality (WalMart/Pier One). Plates were plastic. - Glasses were plastic. No Crystal for wine or cocktails. 6 heavy painted wine glasses and two cocktail glasses for a 5 BR house. -kitchen was minimally stocked compared to other VRBO houses we have rented. No meat thermometer or any special kitchen tools or gadgets. -washing machine was full of wet towels when we arrived. -light bulbs need replaced throughout - odd that lamps were placed around house but no place to plug in. Outlets were not there. -lots of water damaged, rotted wood and loose floor tiles, probably from hurricane damage that never got repaired. - it seems as though this house had been vacant for a while and we must have been the first occupants in quite some time since so many things were in disrepair and didn’t work.
