The house at first seemed too far out of the way for me, but once we got there we loved the location by the river and with a dock to fish and swim from. We loved that. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfasts. It became a great base to visit Montgomery, Selma and Birmingham; along with visiting family in the area.
This was a perfect place to enjoy the water and other people's company. We swam and paddled around the lake, strummed guitars, and grilled up a ton of great food. Everything was as listed and we really had a great time!
Beautiful house . Beautiful location. Easy to communicate with the owners . It was nice to unplug from WiFi and cable tv and put our phones down and relax .
The kids never complained about not having WiFi , they were to busy playing on the dock , fishing , and when it was time to come inside they enjoyed the games and toys that were available.
We will definitely stay here again !

The view was nothing short of spectacular! Linen was clean and sleeping was very comfortable. There was plenty of trash or litter scattered about the property. There is a terrible ant problem on the property. All in all we had a pleasant stay.
We had a great time, relaxing, very comfortable. Loved rhe rustic look, the suroom. The beds were very comfortable. Very well furnished. Kitchen had sverything t I cook with. I have stayed in places before where the kiten wasn't very well furnished. This group likes to cook, not eat out. Again we had a great time! Thank you!!!!
Farmhouse cozy with amazing lake views! We fished and swam during the day from the amazing dock and ate and played games around the table in the sunroom which has amazing lake views. It was so great to get off grid and relax! We had grandkids with us ages 10 and 3 and they were thrilled with the toy/book selections as well as the ride on toys and extensive concrete area to ride. The linens were luxurious and overall it was the perfect week! 5 out of 5 recommend! We ventured into town to experience the peach attractions and we also made it to the majestic caverns. Highly recommend both! Thanks for the great time! If we ever make it back to Clanton, we would love to stay again!

It’s OK
The house was fairly dated but clean. The outside was less desirable but quiet, never saw any neighbors and very little boat travel. The stairs were difficult and a lot of them but they also had weeds and briars starting to grow between steps. The kitchen was not good to work in with a large group.
The host was very responsive and very helpful with the check in process and anything we needed. The house has everything you need for a great week! Lots of extra toys and things for our kids, which was wonderful! A huge selection of DVDs for the kids to watch also. we were able to park two boats and trucks in the driveway for our fishing tournament. The driveway was very steep more than we had realized, but it still worked even when it was a lot. There is a 2 mile dirt road to get back to the house, which got the boat a bit dirty but overall it was fairly clean even when wet. Overall, the stay was great and we will be happy to go back!
This is an old quirky cabin that the owners have given new life to, by re-modeling and adding cute cabin decor. The view is great. It's really a 3 bedroom with a daybed on the air conditioned porch. The dock chairs were all very old and broke while we were there. But that's an easy fix. The neighbors were very nice! Also the view from the dock includes a decrepit neighboring dock half sunk in the water. But that's really out of the owners control. And the boaters and jet skiers come into the cove at full speed so be prepared for wake. If you have small children, you will have to supervise or carry to the dock and people with limited mobility will also have a challenge going down and up. It is dog friendly but for swimming dogs there is no way to get in or out of water on their on. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay. It's very quiet and peaceful.
