Relax in this 2 Bedroom charming atmosphere, centrally located to all things Harrison and the Buffalo River. This well-designed house will offer you the best of both worlds in proximity to Harrison and the Upper Buffalo Wilderness area. Only 35 (ish) minutes to the Buffalo, and central to all the quaint little shops in Harrison, this lovely home is perfectly suited for the modern adventurer. We love hitting the Farmers market on the square and taking walks around lake Harrison! Come & enjoy! The space Our house is a renovated classic from an era of hard American work ethic and ingenuity. With both a modern and antique blend, we put the comforts into the nostalgia. There are a few quirks and rustic features to the home that add character but might be a bit odd to our guests, like a working skeleton key, antique windows, neat old closet doors, etc. We are confident you will enjoy our little jewel as much as we do. With a grocery store four blocks away yet tucked into a sleepy neighborhood you will have the best of both worlds staying at our little cottage. The front porch hints of days gone by where the ole timers would relax and wave at the passing neighbors from the warm environment of the front of the home. The porch swing provides just the right perspective to start your mornings or finish your evenings. The two bedrooms are both connected to the bathroom, which functions well with communication. We are proud of this little gem and hope that you feel the same! Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home, two bedrooms, one bath, living area, full kitchen, dining area, and a separate work-meditation-reading area to enjoy. Other things to note Additional parking is available behind the house in the blacktop parking area of the business behind the house. (Large wooden brown building)
The garage (where you will park in front of) is unavailable for use with the rental. Please only park one car in front of the garage, the business behind the house is available for additional vehicles.
Cabin is non-smoking but smoking outside is permitted as long as the cigarette remains are properly discarded of.
If using the grill please wait until the grill has cooled off and re cover it with the cover to avoid excessive rust.

Thanks for staying with us! We understand why you left a 4 star review based upon the cleaning fee, however that it no way reflects the over all House and your stay. The cleaning fee and how it’s displayed is not on the hosts for anyone in the VRBO platform. In other words we can’t do anything about it, how they present it, or how the totals end up being represented. I hope the lack of a 5 star review was based solely upon the house and our accommodations at very reasonable rates over all. If the review was left based upon the cleaning fee then your review made us suffer a bit for something we cannot control. We understand the frustration as we have had the same issues when traveling as well. Hopefully these nightly platforms get better about proper cleaning fee representations. We would love to have you return and thank you for understanding.
The house was in a great location for riding. Parking a little rough for motorcycles. House was clean and very homey. Note the two bedrooms only have a double bed in them. Also the deck and patio have no outdoor furniture

Thank you for your stay! We are so glad to know you had a wonderful time!
Thanks for the feedback, the main bed is a queen, the secondary bed is a double. We do have the porch swing on the deck but will definitely entertain the idea of patio furniture!

We visited Arkansas to ride all of the great motorcycle roads that we heard about in the Ozarks. The house was a great starting point for all of our rides, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Overall, the house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner all week. We were able to walk to the grocery store (carrying groceries on a motorcycle is difficult) and to the ice cream shop (walking back up the hill burned off all the calories in those sundaes I'm sure). I enjoyed walking to the old town square of Harrison every night and learning about the buildings and the history of the area. We couldn't have chosen a better place to be our base for exploring the Ozarks. We are home now, and I have to say that I miss the place just a bit. Thank you for hosting and for sharing your house with us.

Our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. The home was generally clean and amenities were nice , laundry, first aid supplies, kitchen had necessities etc. The snack basket was a sweet surprise. 😊 The home was centrally located great for our day rides on the bike trails of Harrison
However we have a couple of constructive suggestions. When mowing and there are quests, do not leave branches on sidewalk in front of entry door and try not to blow grass on guest property (trailer parked in front of garage). When you have 4 guests arriving have more than 3 washcloths . We want you to know that a couple of the chairs by the table need repair, they are coming apart. The Dr. where we parked the motorcycles asked us Not to park there after 8 a.m. and seemed maybe he hadn’t given permission? I am only mentioning this info for your benefit. Thank you

Thanks for your feedback!
We hire a mowing company and we will mention this to them, however we aren’t able to always make people follow our requests. Thanks for the update on the table as we were not aware and nor were we aware of the washcloths. There is normally more there and we were not notified by our cleaning people.
However, we appreciate your patience but do not believe that your stay warranted a two star review.
The doctor gave us permission in the past and we aren’t aware of any change until now.
We would appreciate a bit more patience for things that we can’t control.
