Vacation in a historic forestry office in the Teutoburg Forest

Would you like to spend your holiday with friends or family in a historic, landmark-protected house in the countryside that offers modern comforts? Then you’ve come to the right place. Our house is located right on hiking trails such as the Viaduct Trail, Durbeke Trail, and Paderborn High Trail. Hiking trails like the beautiful Eggeweg or the Hermannshöhen are just a short distance away. Our holiday apartments are lovingly furnished and equipped with everything a holidaymaker could wish for. Three apartments are available: the “Hofgarten” with two bedrooms, the “Wald-Blick” with one bedroom and a sauna, and the “Kutscherstube” with one bedroom, a wood-burning stove, stunning fieldstone walls, and a lovely, cosy living room. Our house is nestled in the heart of nature, near hiking trails and a nature reserve. The kitchenettes in the apartments are equipped with a ceramic cooktop, oven, a large fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, egg cooker, and electric kettle. The Hofgarten apartment also features a washing machine. <br>Here in the countryside, we’re far away from all the stress, yet not too far from the village or the nearest town. You’re free from the noise and hustle and bustle of the city and can relax wonderfully right in the heart of nature. Our Wi-Fi works great, there are plenty of books to browse through, and we have toys for kids, as well as memory games and puzzles. Hiking trails*, such as the Viaduct Hiking Trail, run right past the house. The mystical Externsteine*, the Hermann Monument*, the interesting Tractor Museum in Kempen-Feldrom (right next to the Eggewald Campground*—unpaid advertisement*), various animal parks (Heiligenkirchen Bird Park*, the Berlebeck Eagle Sanctuary*), many castles and palaces are located in our region, and many destinations are within easy reach. Or you can visit the romantic towns and villages in the area, or spend your time on our farm with a good book, relaxing in a lounge chair, and enjoying some quiet time in the farm garden—just as you like. Or you can plan a milestone birthday celebration for family and friends here with us. You can stay in the holiday apartments and use our garden and farmyard for the party.
