Vacation cottage Eddy


House Eddy is located on a spacious plot on a slope under huge trees in the Limbach Valley.
Güntersberge is a recognized local recreation area. Quiet and idyllic location. A place to relax.
An ideal place for your dog to go on great hikes with owners and mistress without meeting many people. The walk through the forest and meadows starts right at the door. A so-called insider tip in the Harz. The Limbach Valley is a piece of untouched nature. If you leave your shoes outside at night, a fox will surely stop by and take them with you. You will usually find him again. Sometimes another shoe is brought along. Here you are not in the middle of it. If you look out of the window you will see a beautiful nature with its inhabitants from the squirrel to the robin or acorn.
Our house has a terrace. Equipped with grill and patio furniture.
Eddy is also in the center of the Eastern Harz. From here you can be in places of history and myth in 15-20 minutes by car. Nearby are 2 cities that belong to the World Heritage. Stolberg and Quedlinburg. The legendary witch dance place with the Roßtrappe, Barbarossa monument, castles and palaces. The longest suspension bridge in the world. So it can't be boring for you. Of course, our Harz is great for sports enthusiasts. Whether by bike on the street or off-road. The mountain lake is ideal for swimming, boating or fishing. Simply great. Hiking or looking for mushrooms. Everything is possible.

Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich .Aber die Fotos stimmen nicht wirklich mit der Wirklichkeit überein.Die Tannen sind nicht mehr da,die einrichtung ist teilweise komplett anders, da sollte man mal alles neu machen.Auf dem Fotos sollte man zb schreiben,dass der Stausee zb.nicht vor dernTür liegt ,wie ich es gedacht habe...Und noch was am Rande, wenn man 70 für das Putzen bezahlen muss,dann sollte es auch dementsprechend sauber sein!!!

Positiv:Überdachter Parkplatz.Schöne Umgebung.Sehr gute Dusche mit unbegrenztem Warmwasser.Der Palettenofen heizt das Haus schnell und effektiv.Freie Nutzung der Dampflok.Negativ (und Tips):Die Küche ist sehr klein (obwohl voll ausgestattet).Das Bett ist nur 1,90 Meter lang und hat ein Fußteil.Keine Haken zum Aufhängen von Mänteln. Auch sonst keine Haken.Langer und schlammiger Weg vom Auto zum Haus.Eine Fußmatte im Haus würde helfen, alles sauber und trocken zu halten.Ein Sideboard (unter dem Fernseher) wäre willkommen, um Dinge zu verstauen und abzustellen (was sonst nirgendwo möglich ist).

Die Wohnung sah genauso aus wie in den Bildern, es gab keine Überraschungen. Küche war top, vor allem die Spülmaschine. Trotz nur einen Ofens immer schön beheizt, nur einmal hat er nicht funktioniert, was sich aber relativ leicht beheben ließ. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 15 Minuten Entfernung. Auch wenn wir öfter mal Bushaltestellen gesehen haben, würde ich ohne Auto nicht dorthin verreisen wollen. Süße Therme in 20 Minuten erreichbar & auch einige tolle Wanderrouten, wenn ein paar gute auch eher weiter weg (ca 40 Minuten ins Ski-Gebiet).

Mooie rustige plek in goed geoutilleerde houten hut/bungalow

Het is een mooi gesitueerde waldhut, met voldoende uitrusting. Het is minder/niet geschikt voor mensen die minder goed te been zijn, gezien de aanlooptrap met ongelijke treden. Voor anderen heeft dat weer z'n charme. Het is er echt muisstil! Fijn is de Gästekart met vele mogelijmheden, waarinder gratis lokaal OV. muisstil

Verstecktes Häuschen

Wir haben unsere Zeit in Güntersberge sehr genossen. Das Ferienhaus war mit allen ausgestattet was man für eine Urlaub zu zweit braucht.Sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Schlüsselübergabe war ganz unkompliziert. Die überdachte Terasse haben wir viel genutzt und toll fanden wir auch den Stellplatz im Carport. Den Badesee und die Eismanufaktur, ganz in unserer Nähe, haben wir täglich besucht. Es gibt viele sehr schöne Wanderwege in und um Güntersberge. Zu empfehlen ist das Restaurant im Harz Hotel, wir haben dort sehr gut gegessen.

Bei Ankunft mussten wir feststellen das die Hütte nicht wie auf den Bildern beschrieben von Bäumen umgeben ist. Man hat mehrere direkte Nachbarn, sodass man direkt auf dem Presentierteller saß. Die Küche ist kleiner und eine andere als auf den Fotos, keine Arbeitsflächen vorhanden und keine Möglichkeit Geschirrtücher aufzuhängen. Keine Dunstabzugshaube, sodass der Rauchmrlder der auf dem Schrank liegt, anging.. Keine Garderobe vorhanden. Kein Schrank im Wohnzimmer vorhanden. Und ein Pelletofen der Lärm macht. Im Schlafzimmer fiel uns die Gardinenstange auf den Kopf, da diese bewusst lose auf die Halterung gelegt wurde. Fehlende Teile davon lagen im Schrank. angeblich wusste man davon nichts. Nach Absprache wurde uns lediglich angebiteb die Kurtaxe nicht zahlen zu müssen. Das waren 1,50€/tag und person. Lachhaft. Keine Reparatur oder sonstiges hat stattgefunden. Man hat sich dann einfach nicht mehr gemeldet. Und das für fast 100€/Nacht.. unfassbar! Für diesen Preis darf man mehr erwarten. Für uns definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.

Perfekte Basis für Tagestouren

Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für ein Heim auf Zeit braucht. Wir sind von hier zu Tagestouren in den Harz aufgebrochen und hatten dank des Pellets- Ofen immer einen warmen Empfang. Das Bett ist für Personen über 1.80m etwas zu klein. Das Badezimmer und die Küche sind frisch renoviert.

Kurzurlaub im Harz

Es war ein sehr schöner Kurzurlaub. Die Blockhütte ist für zwei Personen mit Hund genau richtig. Der Charme und die Größe machen es zu einem sehr gemütlichen Wohlfühlort. Es gibt zahlreiche Wanderwege, die zu Fuß zu erreichbar sind. Wir haben jeden einzelnen Tag genossen. Gerne kommen wir wieder! Vielen Dank für die Möglichkeit.

Herrliche Woche im Harz

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche im Haus Eddy. Das Haus ist klein, aber fein und gemütlich. Aufgrund des guten Wetters konnten wir oft draußen sitzen. Wir haben schöne Wanderungen in einsamer Natur gemacht. Ausflüge nach Quedlinburg, Stolberg, Burgruine Anhalt etc. standen auch auf dem Programm. Danke für den herzlichen Empfang bei der Ankunft. Schön ist's!

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in Güntersberge - auch im Februar eine gute Sache, wenn es natürlich auch heftig Off-Season ist, zumindest, wenn es so schneelos zugeht. Das Essen im Bahnhof Güntersberge (wir hatten Wild) ist übrigens ausgezeichnet.
