very Comfortable bed ample parking, nice layout. Very nice view, screened in porch, very well stocked kitchen, private dock, very clean, good beds, lots of sport equipment including kayaks, paddleboards and bikes.
We stayed over Labor Day weekend with another family - 4 adults and 5 children total. The house had everything we could possibly need. The kayaks and paddle boards were wonderful! And the foosball and ping pong in the garage were a great way to change things up. The view from the screened porch was beautiful!
My husband and I were welcome with an Anniversary card and a bottle of wine from our host. We thought that was very thoughtful to take the time out to help celebrate our special day! Home was very clean and essentials for of day use was provided. Very quiet and beautiful!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the The Blue Crab Cove. The cottage was comfortable and included all the amenities that were listed. We kayaked down the river to the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay although the jellyfish prevented us from swimming. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Thank you for a great experience.
Wonderful, peaceful. We were a group of six including 3 adults visiting from the UK. Our first trip to the Northern Neck and it was very relaxing (apart from the drive in the storm arriving on the Thursday night! :) ) The house was just great, our 7 year old daughter particularly enjoyed swimming in the cove and the kids kayaks. The cove was perfect for her learning to kayak solo for the first time. We didn't find the house was lacking for anything! Lovely.
Spent Labor Day weekend in the Northern Neck area visiting family. The house was great with lots of room and had literally everything we needed. We grilled out, had a fire both nights, went kayaking, had a ping pong tournament, and did a little crabbing off the pier. House was in a nice quiet neighborhood that was not too far off the beaten path. The kitchen was well-stocked and even saved me one night with a recipe I was making and had forgotten the spices to go with the food. They had a large spice collection which was a life saver! Beds were comfy, lots of bathrooms and the kid’s room was upstairs with with a huge bean bag chair. The owner checked in with us via email to make sure everything was good which was a nice touch. Will definitely be staying here again when visiting family.
