Studio "Redfish Room" in a house with 4 apartments, open water - cozy atmosphere in an open living-sleeping area with fully equipped kitchen - private bathroom with shower - the highlight: the "closed veranda" overlooking the water

Enjoy a dream holiday in a place on this earth, which offers you every evening the most beautiful sunset in the world!

Our "Fishermen's Paradise" is located directly on the water. In just a few minutes you can reach the Gulf of Mexico. The view from the boat dock is towards the west - the evenings you will not want to spend anywhere else!

The building complex is typical of this region - it captivates with the customary colorful colors of the south. The complex consists of 4 small, cute studios that provide everything you need for a holiday - a place to sleep and relax, a well-equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with shower. A communal laundry room offers the possibility to wash and dry laundry if necessary.

However, more important are various outdoor seating areas - retreat, but also community is possible - depending on your personal needs. Enjoy barbeque evenings, the BBQ grill specially made for you, relax in the quiet evening by the water and watch the sensational sunset.

The Redfish Room will immediately give you a "home" feeling.

A cozy interior welcomes you and the studio has everything you need on holiday.

Meals can be prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoyed at the dining table.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower and enough towels.
After a busy day, you can watch TV from the comfy bed or relax on the veranda, which adds a space to the living area.

Great Location

Lovely location on a canal. Property is walking distance (and very short driving distance) to "downtown" Matlacha. Best part is a large, screened, breezy patio. Real Florida island living. The premises itself is rather basic, in a colorful funky Matlacha style.

Matlacha

Nice little place. A lot of traffic/construction and properties in need of repair or waiting to be torn down.

Matlacha is Back!

We fell in love with Fisherman’s Paradise and Matlacha when we first discovered it 7 years ago. We missed visiting during the Covid and hurricane recovery years but were so delighted to see it reopen that we changed our travel plans so we could spend a few days this year and support the economy. So glad we did! We had the bonus of great weather and perfect sunsets on the dock with friendly neighbors.

A quaint weekend getaway that has been on my list for years. Sitting on the dock in the morning for coffee and the evening watching the lightning storm was the best. Very peaceful and relaxing. The Lovegrove Gallery was right around the corner and she has been a favorite of mine since moving to Florida. Everyone was very friendly the restaurants were great! Yucatan Grille was great food and live music, easy ambiance and friendly patrons. We will be back to explore more and fish next time! Definitely recommend!

Schöner Ausklang

Schöner Blick auf den Kanal zu jeder Tageszeit. Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Die "geschützte" Terrasse war gut und nötig, wegen der Mücken und wir konnten so abends draußen sein. Die Woche verging wie im Flug.

Everything was as pictured and described. We really enjoyed sitting on the dock along the water and renting the canoe. The screened in patio was also nice for escaping the bugs and sun.
