Huge Sunroom and 27x30 patio...ideal for watching sunrises and sunsets, and enjoying the view!

Prime location to watch Bald Eagles, Deer, Turkey, River Otters, Exotic Ducks in Winter... and Swim, Fish, Boat in the Summer!

Home surrounded by 100's of acres of farmland; giving tremendous privacy. Country feeling, yet only 10 miles to I-70 and St. Peters/St. Charles. ...for those of you who don't need, and aren't looking for, luxury hotel amenities, but are looking instead for a nice, comfortable, vacation getaway in a nice log cabin setting.

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed our stay over the weekend. It was a bit further out off the highway than anticipated but once we arrived, out stay was perfect. It had everything we needed for our stay.

Very private great fishing

Very beautiful private property with no neighbors for miles. We enjoyed our stay , the owners were very accommodating and friendly. We caught lots of catfish during our stay it was alot of fun.

Honeymoon Getaway

Beautiful! The cabin was very nice. Right on the river. We enjoyed watching the eagles and the eagle's nest right across the river from the back patio..we'll be visiting again this summer.

Weekend Getaway with Friends

This was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway with friends. The view was absolutely beautiful! We were also close enough to St. Charles and St. Louis to enjoy some sightseeing. I highly recommend.

Sandra, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. -- And yes, to let other guests know... the cabin is 10 miles from the main highway with grocery stores, fast food, restaurants, etc... and takes about 15 minutes to drive to those stores from the cabin. It's easy and very convenient to plan to stop at the grocery for your last fresh foods before these last 15 minutes of the trip.

We bought this wonderful log home as our family get-away, close to home, about 15 years ago. We have so many wonderful family memories with our kids growing up, adventures out on the river (swimming, boating, waterskiing), entertaining friends... Our kids are now grown and we were not using our lovely cabin as much, so we decided to share it with other people so that they can create and enjoy fun memories of vacations as well. If you want a peaceful setting, winter or summer, this is it! Nature surrounds the cabin and is fun to watch from the deck. Bald Eagles and Golden eagles abound Dec-Feb! Deer visit year-round. Fishing is fun in the summer too....or just relax and barbeque on the deck with the fabulous view.

Why they chose this property

We love the cabin because while it is secluded, peaceful, and off the beaten path, it is only 15 minutes to get to grocery stores/shopping/entertainment.
