This cabin was great. Very clean, everything you need. Great views, clean pool. Property manager/host was great. Booked on short notice (was in Myrtle and wanted to leave the rain/tropical storm). Even had a bear with her cub
Great location - right between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Beautiful views.
Loved the hot tube, balcony, and game room. Bedrooms were spacious. Loved how each bedroom had a bathroom. property was beautiful. We had bears the first couple of days in the neighborhood. The only complaint is the pool was closed for 2 days for maintenance and then when it was open the bugs or knats were really bad around the pool that we couldn't swim. We had a lot to do but the kids wanted to use the pool after our days of hiking. We would def come back here!

So/So Clean, Hard to find, no water pressure. Can't receive food deliveries.
We were very happy with our stay. The property was well taken care of and clean. It would have been nice to have a couple of coffee filters on hand and maybe one packet of coffee in order to have some coffee in the morning before we purchased our own. But we were very satisfied with the house and the location in regard to Gatlinburg. We had a very comfortable stay.
Wonderful vacation as we enjoyed the new cabin and proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Our kids enjoyed seeing a mama bear and 2 cubs down the road. The only suggestions we would have would be adding screens on the sliding doors and a firepit outside. We hope to return next year!
Overall it as a nice place and was clean. But the fire alarm started beeping in the middle of the night due to low battery. Maintenence came out the next day and replaced batteries, but they beeped again the next night. The pool despcrition was misleading as well, we thought we were going to have a private pool. But it was a community pool.

Property management not great
As a rental property owner myself, I would've handled the experience we had differently. When we arrived, the home had not been cleaned from the last renter. We arrived around 7:00 and after phone calls, the cleaning person came to clean while 8 of us sat and waited. Home was cleaned by 11:00p.m We went on with our trip as normal. Home was great and we enjoyed ourselves. Cleaning people were super nice! On the way home, we called the management company to see what they could do for us since our 1st night was ruined from the home not being clean. The property manager told us that they had never encountered this before and asked what we wanted. After back and forth conversation we asked for a refund on the 1st night only. I must say, she (property manager) was very unprofessional and quite rude to us and I certainly would not want anyone to encounter what we did. A few days later she said she could give us a $250 credit. I said ok, that's great. That was in March 2023. I have messaged 2 separate times with no response and no reimbursement. I hope the owner sees this and makes corrections for this to not happen again. I would not have posted a negative review if it had been made right. But since my messages have been ignored, I felt a review was warranted. Like I said, great place! But management needs some adjustments.
We enjoyed our stay at Kookaburra. The house was as pictured and had everything we needed for our stay. The decor was beautiful.
We've been going to Gatlinburg for the past 6 years and always stayed at a different place. I was a little disappointed that the prettiest view was from the little upstairs deck at the back of the house. The drive up was a little confusing and not very well marked. There were a couple of signs but there were roads going off of the main road before those signs and made it a little tricky. Once we figured it out it was ok. Also we came up from Cherokee and the GPS took us up the back of the mountain and couldn't find Street of Dreams Way. Sabrina stayed on the phone to guide us back to the house. She was wonderful and knew where we were.
All in all, the trip was great, we had a fantastic time
This cabin was all we could have hoped for and more. We loved the 3 master suites. We spent so much time on the wrap around deck- the outdoor furniture was very comfortable. The cabins are situated in a way that you hardly even knew you had neighbors. Very clean, and beautifully decorated. Will definitely recommend this rental!! Thank you!
A gorgeous home in a peaceful setting close to tons of activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Surrounded by amazing landscapes and opportunities for hiking. Loved, loved, loved it!!!

This home was brand new and had the new home smell and was extra clean and very well stocked with all items you would need for a weekend getaway. The house was centrally located to the excursions we wanted to do, would totally stay here again. The only cons (if you can really call them that) we found were, the house was so new that the smell of varnish was still in the air, this house was centered between two others that were being build amd early Saturday morning (before 8) contractors were working and we could hear the power tools and last the drive up to the house was steep but once you got to the top the view was beautiful. Not sure if the home would be accessible if there was snow or ice. We were there Halloween weekend so the drive through the gate and then to the property was decorated with scary/unsettling to me characters and decoration but tue other guests with me thought it was GREAT!!!! We will definitely be back 😃
This was a great place. Very clean, roomy and beautiful furnishings. The kitchen was well appointed and easy to navigate. We saw bears every day! The only downside was the pool being closed more than half our stay in the middle of a horrible heat wave. Some local residents told us to go swim anyway that the sign was just left . A maintenance lady came to the pool and scolded us, cussed in front of my child then followed us back to the cabin. The owner communicated well and could not do anything about the pool. It was disappointing but not her fault. Love seeing this area thriving after the fires!
