Very bad experience
This home that we stayed in practically ruined my 36 year wedding anniversary. Too much to list. Day one we were sent wrong information to home. So we had to double pay to finally get ther. No address just pin drops to a location so if your phone does not have excellent internet access and usage, communications will be 10 times harder to get information. When we finally got to home, It felt like we were not in what was described. So do your detailed homework. Wish we had stayed at a resort or hotel in the end. In fact because thing got extremely worse, we needed to leave as the power stopped working (off amd on) and we had no running water for two days. No means to cook the food we bought. More wasted money. Living space smaller than expected. For us it was Awful just awful. Don't just go by description and pictures. This part of my time in Greece was the worst vacation I have ever taken. One towel per person. No instructions on how to do anything in the home. No one came to clean rooms or refresh towels. The manager was initially responsive and tried to help I guess, but no real results. We were left in the dark and he only left us with words that "help would come in the morning". In the morning no response and no help. Had to go to bed hungry and dirty from day at the beach. Too late to go somewhere else. The owners and company management finally came through and was very responsive to all of my messages. I was very happy with their help and responses (which were timely once they got word). But unfortunately, it was well after we had that horrible night and left the next day. In the end, we had a horrible exerience with this stay that highly impacted the limited time on the island. Finally at the end of the day we left, we stumbled on a very new hotel called ionic and it was like night and day. The accomodations were impeccable 5-star all around! They saved my last day in Mykonos. Folks, do your due diligence is my advice. I have many things I would share with this owner so that the property is truly liveable, visitor ready so no one experiences what we did EVER.

Beautiful Greek home with amazing views
We really enjoyed staying at this unique property. The views are absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony for breakfast. The beds are very comfortable and there are 3 bathrooms, all with traditional showers with very hot water. Katarina was a wonderful hostess for us and was available to answer any questions. This is a quieter area of Mykonos, so not a lot around, but you can walk to the beach and there are a few hotel bar/restaurants close by also. We didn’t try any so I can’t recommend. Finding the property can be challenging but with the Google maps it brought us right to the street. 20 minutes drive to town for a complete change of atmosphere! 5 minutes drive is a bakery, grocery, etc. Ano Mera is close also and nice to visit for a village atmosphere with local restaurants. Very much enjoyed this property!

Why they chose this property

Inside, curves and arches complement neutral-toned furnishings made from effortlessly chic natural materials. Upstairs, the simple but classic white-washed walls, exposed wood ceilings, and soft lighting create light, airy and soothing space in the common areas – the living room and kitchen. Hola Residence has an open-plan layout, which means you can easily spend time together with your guests, even when you’re cooking. The modern kitchen is fully equipped so you can have a go at recreating traditional, iconic Greek dishes.

Downstairs, both bedrooms have queen beds and are located on the ground floor – one of them has an ensuite bathroom, while the other has access to a guest bathroom on the same floor.

There are numerous desirable beaches within a short drive of the residence, perfect for an afternoon of sunbathing or for engaging in thrilling watersports
at Kalo Livadi Beach. The famous Mykonos Town is merely 20 minutes away. This private and cozy rustic stone residence is a sun worshipper’s dream and the perfect place to spend quality time with family and small groups of friends.
