Very comfortable home with great property. Grounds are wonderful for family and pets. Lots of privacy and room to relax. Good crabbing off the dock. Great location for boating on the Magothy River.
Thank you for your lovely review. We’d love to host you and your family again!
Paradise on the water
Great rental property. Very relaxing. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children who had such an awesome time. The water area and dock were great for attempting to fish—but the crabbing was awesome. Took the row boat out a couple of times to explore and take in the views. Close to Baltimore for a couple of day trips. Only warning is to watch for ticks. My husband found one (super tiny) after we played near the basketball area. It is the season so be sure to check. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks to Abigail for being responsive and Wayne for being helpful on the property!
Thank you for your review! Glad you had a wonderful stay and we’d love to have you back!
Everything was clean and weather was great!
Can’t wait to go back!
Great time on the River
Our family had a wonderful stay at Abigail's family house. We made the most of our week enjoying wonderful afternoon's and evenings sitting under the shade of the trees along he shore line. We enjoyed swimming in front of the house and even rented a boat which we launched and kept on the private pier on the property. We enjoyed a crab feast along the waters edge. Our only negative was having one of the two bathrooms outside of the house. We knew about it before hand, but would have preferred there be a bath on the main floor.
Great place to enjoy a family getaway
Loved our time...
Was a beautiful house and very peaceful on the waterfront. We all enjoyed everything except the bathroom situation.
Our Home is conveniently located 30 minutes away from the Naval Academy, making it a perfect accommodation for families attending Commissioning Week. Historic Ellicott City is a mere half hour away, where one can find plenty of antiquing opportunities, wonderful restaurants, and beautiful architecture. In Baltimore, enjoy all the Inner Harbor has to offer, including the Science Center, Baltimore Aquarium and plentiful shopping. Near by is the American Visionary Art Museum and Walters Art Gallery. Last but not least, don't pass up the opportunity to day trip to Washington D.C. to walk the streets of our nations capital, explore the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, The National Spy Museum and catch a glimpse of the White House.
