About this property

Our Home on the Cove: waterfront, peaceful, wooded, comfy, family friendly

Sitting on 8 acres of water front property, Our Home on the Cove is a cottage with 5 bedrooms and room for a family of 4 or 12 to run and play. “The Pines” provides space for volleyball, tag, horseshoes and campfires (yum- s’mores), as well as lounge chairs to watch the water drift by. Swim at your own risk and/or sunbathe on the dock. The fenced in swing set is a great place to let the little ones play. Don’t be surprised to catch a few fish or crabs right off of the pier. Paddling around in the row boat or your own kayak will provide a unique view of our home from the water, and wandering our nature trail will provide an insight into the local wildlife. When all this activity makes you hungry, the kitchen is stocked with enough cookware to feed upward of twelve people; eat at the kitchen table, or on the screened in porch. After dark, star gazing from the dock is an ideal activity, or make a bonfire! Our Home is truly a place to make memories.

Perfect Waterfront Getaway

Beautiful, private spot with amazing water access — beach and dock are a dream. Well-stocked with everything you need, plus three fridges and a handy outdoor bathroom. Bathrooms are large, though not as accessible for older guests. We’d happily book again!

Family Thanksgiving

Beautiful location for a large group with lots of outdoor space and a huge kitchen. The house was comfortable. We loved the outdoor fire pit!

What an amazing spot for a vacation on the water! Great dock to tie the boat to, swim off of, paddleboard and even fish. Would recommend this fantastic spot to anyone looking for a family getaway on the water with tons of activities!

Quaint place on the Water

This house on the bay can fit a nice size family and has all you need. One of the most well stocked places I have stayed. There was equipment for cooking, playing, crabbing, fishing, boating and anything else you could think of. Host was very helpful and communicated very well with all my questions. Great place and will return another time.

We liked the location but it was some harder to find then we thought. The house was roomy and we lived the screened in porch. We all liked the easy access to the bay and the boating and fishing were great! We also like jd the fire pit!

River House Paradise

This is our 4th year in a row of staying at the river house. It is an amazing set up for a family of any size (our crew is 10 people), including the dogs and the boat! It's like stepping back in time, with a completely peaceful property, great house and convenient to everything you might need. We will be staying again next year for sure!
