I booked this place for my trip to the 2025 Daytona 500. Stayed for 5 nights and it was great. House was in a nice quiet little neighborhood and only about 20 minutes from the track. It was also convenient to shopping, beaches and restaurants. House was perfect size. Will definitely book this place again in the future!
We were visiting the area because my son races dirt bikes. We found this property and it was perfect. Location, nice neighborhood. Loved the view of the river. House was very clean. Will be back to stay again.
We loved every second of our stay. This was my son and his best friends senior trip to the Daytona 500. But when I came across this listing I knew I had found the best. My boys both seniors and love to fish, had the best time fishing from the dock and I loved being able to open up the windows and watch them have fun and hear their laughters. The house was really nice and actually the pictures do not do it justice. And was only 20 mins from Daytona Speedway. Thanks again for our wonderful stay.

Thank you so much for your review! We loved having you as our guests and hope you stay again sometime soon.
My wife, mother-in-law and I traveled to Port Orange to see family. My MIL had never stayed in a VRBO home before, and she is now officially sold! We spent a lot of time in the sitting room on the river side of the house watching the wildlife and just relaxing. Watching the sunrise with your favorite morning beverage was a very nice treat! The backyard and dock were also a great place to sit and watch, eat and relax. We are a family of birdwatchers and there was always something to see.The kitchen is very well appointed, and although we didn't do much cooking, we had everything we needed. The bedrooms were good sized with very comfortable beds. They both had closets with hangers so we didn't feel like we were living out of a suitcase. The bathroom was beautiful with an oversized walk in shower and plenty of hot water! The neighborhood itself was quiet and the house is on a dead end street. Getting out for a walk to one of the 3 small green space parks close by was relaxing without having to worry about traffic. It was also close by Daytona (about 10 minutes) and New Smyrna beaches (about 20 minutes) and to get to the speedway was well less than a half hour. Cape Kennedy was about an hour away and the Orlando airport about an hour and 15 minutes. There was certainly no lack of things to do!All in all, this was a lovely place for a low key vacation if that's what you're after, or there was also plenty to do from shopping to beach going to sight seeing.

About the host
Hosted by Bob Thollander
I enjoy providing clean, comfortable, well-appointed homes for guests visiting Volusia County and Central Florida. I take pride in offering properties that feel thoughtfully prepared, welcoming, and easy to settle into from the moment you arrive.
Outside of hosting, I enjoy boating, fishing, gardening, snowboarding, and spending time with family. I have always appreciated homes that bring people together, whether it is for a beach trip, family visit, long weekend, or quiet getaway.
My goal is simple: to provide a quality stay in a home that feels cared for, comfortable, and ready for you to enjoy.
Why they chose this property
I’m drawn to neighborhoods that feel peaceful, welcoming, and connected to the best of coastal Central Florida. Many of our homes are located in areas that offer a quieter residential feel while still keeping guests close to beaches, restaurants, parks, local shops, and the attractions that make Volusia County such a special place to visit.
I especially enjoy neighborhoods where guests can slow down and feel at home — places where neighbors walk their dogs, ride bikes, enjoy the water, and take in the natural beauty of the area.
For me, the best location is one that gives guests a comfortable place to relax at the end of the day while still making it easy to explore everything nearby.
What makes this property unique
Each home is prepared with comfort, convenience, and a quality guest experience in mind. I want guests to feel like they have everything they need for a relaxing stay, whether they are visiting for a family trip, beach getaway, work-from-anywhere stay, or extended visit.
Guests can expect thoughtful touches such as a Keurig coffee maker, high-speed 1G internet, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, premium cable, family-favorite board games, and convenient laundry access with a high-efficiency washer and dryer where available.
All of our homes also include inviting outdoor spaces, comfortable seating, fenced yards, and a grill for enjoying time together. My goal is to make each stay feel easy, comfortable, and memorable.
