Cosy Family Home

Country house, quietly located, within walking distance to a butcher and supermarkets, right by meadows and fields (750 m).

Ideal for families, friends and longer stays: 4 bedrooms (up to 8 guests), conservatory, piano, 75" smart TV and air hockey. Fully equipped kitchen incl. barista espresso machine, dishwasher and washing machine. Large private garden just for you with BBQ. EV wallbox and self check-in.

The Black Forest, Lake Constance, Freiburg, Stuttgart and Zurich are easily reachable.

The space

GROUND FLOOR
Spacious open-plan living and dining area. Fully equipped kitchen incl. dishwasher, antique dining table and barista portafilter espresso machine. Warming stove (with straightforward oil central heating support). Comfortable sofa, 75" smart TV and piano.
Conservatory as an extra room: citrus plants, second dining table, air hockey and toys.
Also: guest WC.

UPPER FLOOR
Three bedrooms and a spacious, bright bathroom.
Bedroom 1: king-size comfort bed (200 x 200 cm, Hüsler Nest)
Bedroom 2: double bed (140 x 200 cm) + workspace

Detached house with a large garden, two shade-giving apple trees and BBQ grill. Two parking spaces on the property, plus free street parking.
EV charging: wallbox at the house, available anytime. Electricity is billed separately based on usage.

IDEAL FOR WHOM?
Perfect for 1–2 families (small and older children) or an adult group: up to 8 guests plus a toddler. You will find everything you need for a relaxed stay.
Guest access
Self check-in from 4:00 pm with your personal code on the front-door keypad (no key needed). The entire house, the private garden, and 2 on-site parking spaces are exclusively yours. From the parking area, a short path with a few steps leads to the entrance. EV charging is available exclusively for guests anytime via the wallbox at the house (billed separately based on usage).

Other things to note

You’ll appreciate having your own slippers in the house. For families: a travel cot is available, but please bring your own bedding for it. All other beds are made up on arrival, and towels for all guests are provided. For toddlers, we have two high chairs (a Tripp Trapp and an IKEA chair). Pets are not allowed. Please let us know if you need anything that is not listed here, especially if you are travelling with younger children.

Lovely property

Such a wonderful home, everything you need is there with so many toys for kids and teens. All very clean and comfortable. Communication with the owner was very easy through the Vrbo app. Would definitely recommend.

Sehr tolles Ferienhaus für Familien

Wir waren zu 4 und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser großer Sohn 3, 5 Jahre war total begeistert. Da Fam. Engelking alles an Spielsachen, Büchern und Spielen da hat die sich ein Kind nur wünschen kann. Und das Haus war mit allem sehr gut ausgestattet, was man für einen tollen Urlaub braucht. Alles was man braucht

Sowohl als Familie, als auch alles Gruppe von Erwachsenen kann man hier eine tolle Zeit verbringen. Der Garten bietet gemütliche Schattenplätze und auch im Haus kann man es sich im Wohnzimmer sehr gemütlich machen. Vor allem die Multimedia Anlage mit Beamer und Apple TV lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Die Kücheneinrichtung ist überdurchschnittlich für Ferienhäuser. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.

A great vacation

We stayed in this house for four days during June 2019, in our vacation to the black forest. The house is very clean and well equipped with all one can need. The location of the house is very comfortable - just 2 minutes from big supermarket, and 3 minutes from highway 81, giving fast access to far points of interest, together with fast access to close ones (just 35 minutes from Triberg and Schonach). The communication with the owner, Elias, is very fast and fluent. The neighborhood in Tuningen is so quiet that one can hear his own thoughts :-) This house is highly recommended, and we definitely be happy to stay in this house again in our next visit to the black forest. Michael.

We are a family with three boys aged 5, 10 and 12 living and working in Kampot, Cambodia. As a surgeon and business administration advisor, Elias is currently supporting the quality initiatives of the public referral hospital. We previously were in Nigeria for 5 years.
Our "home base" is in southern Germany. Our family places an emphasis on the value that "sharing is caring". This is one of the reasons we believe to be obliged to go beyond ourselves to make both your stay at one of our places as pleasurable as possible and vice-versa also to treat anyone's property we stay at with utmost care and respect.
Living, working, schooling and travelling across the world for many years as a family let us feel that our world can be a glocal village: No one is a foreigner. No one is an enemy. We strive to respect and care for all life as we desire for ourselves.

What makes this property unique

The neighbourhood is quiet and helpful. Within walking distance are Celtic graves and the Sunthauser lake to visit. Beautiful circular hiking trails through meadows and forests lure to rest.
The Black Forest and Lake of Constance as well as the fascinating cities of Freiburg, Constance, Zurich and Stuttgart can be reached within 60 to 90 minutes by car.
