Secluded Country Dream with all the Fun!

Updated Decor and Furnishings!! You'll make lasting memories in our newly appointed stylish retreat located in The Galena Territories!

Whether you come to Galena to shop, ski, golf or just soak up the sun, Owl's Stay has all the essentials needed to relax, have fun, and spread out with your loved ones. And you won't believe the serenity in this backyard with 3 levels (2 large decks) to take it all in.

We're just a short ride to enjoy all The Territory Amenities!

The space

Owl's Stay is a 5 Bedroom and 5.5 Bath retreat and Galena is a perfect excuse to get away. Here you can bring the whole family, extended family, celebrate the bachelor/bachelorette, make it a couple's weekend or keep it simple with just the guys or just the gals!!

You'll find 4 bedrooms with private bathrooms (located main floor and 3 on upper level). The 5th bedroom has two queen beds and utilizes the lower level full bath down the hall.

All living and bed rooms have new flat screen SMART TV's, bring your logins or utilize our guest Amazon Prime account.

After a busy day, there's room for everyone on the large sectional to unwind.

Enjoy home cooked meals w/ 3 dining tables (in/out). We have two large empty drawers in the kitchen to store all your groceries so you can keep the counters clean. There is a double oven and an outdoor gas grill for cooking these big meals!

Head downstairs for a night of fun, challenge your group to a game of pool, ping pong, darts or a friendly game of poker!! Plenty of seats and sliding screen door to enjoy the lower level deck and the views!!

Before calling it a night, soak in the Hot Tub or gather around the Fire Pit and take time to catch up!

Other things to note

We have provided 6 Owner's Club cards; which are needed per person to enjoy the amenities and parking passes that will also needed to park at the club. You can purchase temporary guest pass at the Owner’s Club Complex for $5.

Why they chose this property

The Galena Territory is a semi-private, 6,800-acre private recreational and residential lake community located six miles outside the historic city of Galena in Northwest Illinois. Property owners in the low-density planned residential community collectively own 1,900 acres of recreational amenities in addition to their own properties. These include 31 miles of walking/hiking trails, Lake Galena for boating and outstanding fishing, a marina complex, an equestrian center, and a state-of-the-art pool/recreation complex. The Galena Territory boasts spectacular vistas, valleys, prairies, and woodlands, and harbor rare plant and bird species found nowhere else in Illinois. With a commitment to protecting and preserving this natural environment, The Galena Territory was designated a Community Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation in 2010. This is property backs right up to the wilderness. When in the back you'll feel like you went hiking and found the perfect spot to set up a campfire, there are 2 decks to enjoy the view, not to mention most guests rave about the 3 seasons room off the upper deck; great for playing games and catching up with your loved ones over dinner; without bugs! And that basement has all the fun... set up with 2 bar tables and bar with bar stools... a pool table, ping pong and a poker table! There's darts while you wait your turn at pool, two flat screens to play some music or catch a game. We also have a huge smart TV in the media room great for the kiddos when they aren't out exploring outdoors! From the basement sliding doors lead you out to the lower-level deck, which also houses the Hot Tub perfect to soak in that treelined view!
