Holiday Break on Bench St–Steps from Shopping/Dining/Turner Hall - Fireplace!
This Beautiful, Historical and Updated home is smack dab downtown Galena. This Preservation Award-winning home was built in 1856 and is in an incredible location. Bench St is one street North of Main St and this home is approximately 150 steps to all the amazing dining, shopping and entertainment that Downtown Galena offers. This home is NOT pet-friendly.

This home is an amazing 1600 square feet. It feels spacious and welcoming, definitely not your typical downtown rental. When you pull up and locate your on-street parking (first come first serve) you will notice the immaculate exterior of the home. It is located directly across the street from Turner Hall and could accommodate a bridal group, guests at a function or just serve as a beautiful backdrop for your stay.
Step inside from Bench Street and into the welcoming foyer. To the right, you’ll find a quiet study, and to the left, a cozy living room with an electric fireplace and a beautiful view of Turner Hall. There is plenty of comfortable seating and a flat screen tv for you to enjoy in this living space. NOTE: there is a sofa sleeper in the living room (please bring your own Queen size linens for sleeper). The dining room is large enough for everyone to gather and will be a great spot to enjoy meals and play games during your stay, the record player with vinyl is a sweet treat. Easy access to the kitchen with all major appliances and a Keurig coffee maker is handy for all. Enjoy the complimentary water in the refrigerator. Step out onto the screened back porch, a great place to relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The half bath is also located on the main level. Upstairs are the 3 bedrooms all with comfortable Queen beds and they share one full bathroom. Plush linens and towels are available for you and don't forget that awesome view of Turner Hall across the street. Please note this home does not have a washer and dryer for guest use.
Please note this home is not part of the Galena Territory and does not have access to the GTA amenities.
When you book a home with us we will require 30% down, this is a payment not a deposit. The full balance is due 14 days prior to check-in. If you cancel prior to the 14 days you will receive the first payment less a $35 cancellation fee. At the 14-day mark, your stay will become non-refundable, and dates cannot be adjusted. Your payments will automatically be processed to the card you place on file when booking. Your rental agreement (sent after booking) will reflect the due dates and amounts.
Please Note: You will be required to sign an electronic rental agreement at the time of booking, we ask this be signed and filed within 48 hours of receiving to guarantee your reservation. You must be 25 or older at the time of booking and present for the duration of the stay. Our cancellation policy is NOT flexible. We highly recommend travel insurance, which is offered at the time of booking and up until 15 days before check-in. The provider is CSA.
Check-in details will be sent to the email on file three days prior to your arrival. This message will include the property address, access code, and other important home and area information. Please note that early check-in cannot be guaranteed and may only be considered the evening before or the morning of your scheduled arrival.
