About this property

Newly furnished and renovated! Enjoy spectacular views from your private walk out deck overlooking the water with a grill and a gas fire pit. The stairs lead down to the waterfront area where we have 2 kayaks available. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a large king size bedroom w/TV, spacious 2nd bedroom with 2 x twin beds w/TV, a dining area and living room with large Smart TV and a full bathroom with dual shower heads. Enjoy an authentic coastal Maine experience!
The apartment is a private area that is the lower level of a large home that is not occupied when the apartment is rented so you will have a peaceful and quiet stay!. It is only available select nights when the entire home is not rented (for full house rental, reach out to us). Enjoy newly furnished 2 bedrooms (1 x king beds, 2 x twin beds, 1 x queen size air mattress), 1 full bathroom w/duel shower. You have access to the entire property except the upper levels of the home when renting the apartment. You will have the entire property to yourself since we only rent the apartment when we are not renting the entire home (which you can also find onthe platform or inquire with us).
Set on 3.5 acres tucked away in the woods on Harraseeket Cove & South Freeport Harbor, great for kayaking! 5 minutes from LLBean and downtown Freeport's many shops, restaurants, and more! Wolfes Neck Park's stunning coastal trails and forests are close by and Portland's scenic Old Port is 20 minutes!

Great Place to Spend a Couple Nights in Freeport Area

My family stayed in the apartment for the three days/2 nights we were in the Freeport/Portland area and it was just the type of rental we were looking for. We loved everything about the rental itself -gas fireplace on the deck, waterfront, quiet, comfortable beds, enough dishes to comfortably eat a couple meals there instead of out. The owner was so kind and helpful with recommendations for dining, shopping, and excursions. The location was perfect for exploring Portland, Freeport, and Cape Elizabeth. Definitely recommend staying here.

We own and operate ProActive Properties and have been hosting guests in some of our favorite travel destinations since 2014. I also own an international travel company, ActivSport Travel, and Jess has extensive experience in education as a high school math teacher and leading international educational tours. This gorgeous home on scenic Harraseeket Cove is directly across the water from where we live. When we had the opportunity to purchase it, we knew it would be the perfect place for families and friends to make lifelong memories together and live the amazing Coastal Maine lifestyle. The previous owners had built it themselves using wood from the property and it is a beautiful place!
