A perfect place to experience Alaska's unique urban and natural attractions, the Alaska native crafts, stage dances, Chugach mountain, and the opportunities to see Northern Lights.

You can access the 2st-floor unit via the main door, and you can also assess the deck in the yard and the yard itself. Please note that there is a separate 1nd-floor unit to which you are not allowed for your access. There are guests on the 1nd-floor unit. Lovely Home for Our Stay in Anchorage

This was a wonderful property for our Anchorage stay. Lots of room. I enjoyed the deck outside. The beds were comfortable. The place was clean. The stove, washer and dryer are all recently updated. Made a few suggestions to the kind owner to make it a little nicer for when we come back, and he indicated he is very open to those suggestions. I would stay here again the next time we come to Anchorage.

So-so

Big minus- if you plan on cooking & eating in, just a few pots and fry pans. No sheet tray or bowls cook in microwave or serve food in. Could use more serving utensils too.chinsy qualiity eating utensils. Lots of little kids forks, not a lot of adult forks. Stove, oven, & coffee maker worked well. Decor looked like random stuff from yard sales. Empty fish tank was displayed with kids toys in it. Most furniture looked run down. Television was large and worked well. Sofa was comfortable. Bed mattress weren't so comfortable just okay. Also another minus-just 1 wash cloth & 2 towels in each bathroom to share. It says not to talk to lower unit tenants but to coordinate with them to order the laundry. We left a note for them. Backyard grass overgrown. Water pressure was good in showers. Neighborhood was quiet. Plenty of space to park in driveway.Remember this is a second floor unit. Be prepared to carry your luggage up the steps to the door and again up the steps in the house. Not liking that they required we strip the beds & put all towels in laundry when checking out. Also to put garbage pail out for pick up. In my opinion that's part of the cleaning fee we pay for.

Disappointed

We have stayed at several of the arbias, but we were very disappointed in this one. There weren't any kitchen towels. There were only four glasses there were four of us; there were three coffee cups; There were exactly four towelsls in the bathrooms no wash cloths at all. The dishwasher was full of dishes and still washing When we arrived so I had to put up Is all the dishes from the previous tenants. We checked in exactly on time, But clearly not everything was taken care of. The backyard was horribly overgrown and my son couldn't even go down into the yard. And to even the front yard was overgrown. The laundry room was filthy and so dirty that I had to put a towel down in front of the washer and dryer because the floor was so dirty. I didn't even want to lay my dirty clothes on it. I would not recommend this to friends nor will I stay here again.

it was fine

it was fine for a quick place to stay. the backyard grass was very overgrown and the fence was broken so my dogs couldn’t go without a leash.
