Renew yourself at this peaceful/centrally-located 2 story villa located in Grand Bear Resort Utica, Il next to 3 state parks.; golf,fishing, boating, biking. It’s surrounded by beautiful woods and landscaping.
Inside the 1800 square foot villa is decorated with authentic log furniture, one gas fireplaces, a full kitchen, laundry, a soaking bath/. Main level level has a large sofa and topper available to use as extra sleeping (inside chestextra blow up bed. )Master has bedroom with king bed and sleeper sofa ; other bedroom : 2 queen beds. Villa will sleep 7 Soaking Tub and chef’s kitchen will spoil you! 4new stainless steel appliances added June 2022.
Babbling brooks and trails leading to serene views. Starved Rock trails start right across the street . Miniature golf and children’s playground is walking distance , summertime gazebo serving food is walking distance. Waterpark passes and mini golf are extra costs. Local area has inexpensive public pools
Villa offers kid/adult indoor and outdoor games as directly across from large outside play and picnic area. Please no grilling fire marshall rules ,
Downtown Utica has many restaurants with great food , ice cream parlor, wine tasting, and more. Rent bikes , go horseback riding , or Learn about the historic canal and river or eagle watch . Interesting Indian history told through various tours available Whatever, you are assured a wonderful time :) … and because I grew up in the area i will make sure of it!

Please make sure all garbage is on sidewalk in bags by 4:30 pm for pick uo( animals will get in it at night. If forget then just leave garbage in the villa until next day pick up.
If using sofa on main level for sleeping please do not unfold . Instead use the topper for it ( in the chest) or the blow up bed provided. If unfolded it will not fold back into the couch . Thank you

The space was beautiful, easy check in, very clean, and so many things available for convenience in the home! It was nice that they had detergent, a crock pot, seasonings... The small simple things that make your stay so much easier.

Starved Rock Villa

To think that we came >this close< to booking a hotel room in Ottawa because we wanted to visit Starved Rock State Park! Because the hotel seemed expensive, I decided to check for an alternative, and I am SO GLAD I did! Our Villa was unbelievably spacious, clean, and accommodating. It was filled with amenities throughout, and the Villa's owner was delightfully informative with her personal recommendations. We had a WONDERFUL time at the Villa and at Starved Rock and are looking forward to a return trip sooner rather than later. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
