Beautiful Lake Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time visiting Lake Chelan. The house was perfect for our group of 9. The Lookout is conveniently located next to the lake. They have shuttles that take you straight down to the lake and boat and jet ski rentals right there. The community itself is beautiful and has awesome amenities like pools, pickle ball, volleyball, and coffee shop. Would highly reccomend.

Beyond our expectations!!

Do not hesitate to book this home for your next Chelan vacation! It is absolutely stunning! From the outside to the inside of this home, it is equipped with everything you will need for your stay! The home was supplied with all amenities, was very clean, and the decor was so beautiful! The rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well organized and all cabinets were labeled so it was easy to find things. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio with a hot tub and overhead string lights, it was perfect to end the day, just relaxing. The pool was right across the street as well so we didn’t have to walk very far, which was nice in 100 degree weather! The only con about our stay was we all wished we had booked it for longer!

The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and more gadgets than we expected! The beds were very comfy. Only minor inconveniences were that the tv remotes work on all the TVs, so you'd try and turn on tv downstairs and the upstairs tv turned on. Also kitchen outlets are not GFCI, so coffee maker tripped the breaker a couple times. The staff were very kind and responsive when I spoke with them. The hot tub daily maintenance was an unexpected positive. It was pretty magical to have the outdoor pool in the winter and the kids had so much fun sledding!

Stocked with everything you could need - and more. We especially loved that they have a 240V outlet for our mobile EV charger. The outdoor pool was a hit with our 6yr old as was the hot tub right outside the house. All the community activities were such an added bonus (movie night, games in the common area). Not to mention how close the little town is. We wanted for nothing. You will not regret renting Bikini Bottom!

You have really elevated the Chelan experience. The house had everything that you could need and more. I loved the location of the house— just a stones throw away from the Vineyard pool and a shuttle spot that can take you anywhere. My young girls absolutely loved the kiddie area at the beach and I loved that there are shuttles back and forth to the water. We also took advantage of the jet ski rental that was right at the beach. The Lookout staff was friendly and easy to get ahold of if I needed anything at all. Oh, and as for the couch that many reviewers commented on—- I actually thought that it was pretty comfortable. Nice and deep. Maybe just bring your own blanket to optimize your cozy experience. Thank you Bikini Bottom. We will be back!

A Pleasant Family Vacation Stay

Reviewer Comments: Overall the house was very nice - spacious, clean, some nice features such as a nugget ice maker, nice TVs in all rooms and bluetooth speakers, comfy deck chairs. The house is located across the street from one of the pools and the stop to get rides to the lake, which is excellent. Primary room has a comfy mattress, didn't love the quilt but overall bedding was nice. What could be improved: couch is very uncomfortable, which was a bummer. We spend a lot of time laying together as a fam on the couch and would have loved a soft comfy wide sectional. It's narrow, material is kinda icky, sections move apart easily and dig into back. Not enough comfy pillows and/or blanket on the couch either imo. Biggest issue I had with this stay was that it wasn't clear what type of EV charger was available (I just saw it listed generally EV Charger on amenities) and when I got there it was not readily available, had to call for maintenance. They couldn't find it the first day, had to call owner. Then after two days owner clarified the charger is for Teslas only. I think on the main listing it should state clearly (in the main list of amenities) that the EV charger is for Teslas only and then also instruct people staying how to access the charger - even if I had a Tesla, it would have taken three days to even access it. I think when people see "EV Charger" they excpect a universal connector to be available. I drove across the mountains on one charge expecting to charge at the house so was dismayed that the listing was so inaccurate and maintenance/service/the owner took so long to even answer what the listing meant. I did appreciate that this community has a level of service higher than a standard owner-only AirBnB especially the summer staff doing lake transport as well as the events they put on. Overall enjoyed our stay at The Lookout.

Bikini Bottom Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great house. It has everything you could need. The one thing that was not great was the couch in the living room. It is extremely uncomfortable. Do not just fall into this couch or you will hurt yourself. There are hard dividers between each section/seat of the couch. We also called the main office multiple times because we didn’t have any dishwashing liquid. They kept saying they would bring it. Finally, we went to the office ourselves 48 hours later. Overall, this is a great house with great amenities-easy access to the pools, a hot tub, a short walk to the lake, etc. We had a very nice stay.

Snowy Spring break

The only thing of note, this house does not provide kid safe dishes, but we remedied this by using the plastic plates and cups meant for outdoor use. Overall, very beautiful home in the perfect location close to the heated pool and playground.

Smoky Day Memories

Reviewer Comments: The weather didn't cooperate for our stay, but the house was set up well for our two families to enjoy being together playing games and watching shows. The unit is new and well appointed with high-end pieces throughout, but not as much personal touch as other Lookout houses where we've stayed during past years. Great main floor layout for entertaining. We were unable to find measuring cups and directions for operating the induction range. The primary suite bathroom door does not fully shut. Details on the type of EV charging outlet would have been helpful as we didn't end up having the right plug adapter (NEMA 14-30?) and weren't able to take advantage of the free Level 2 charging.
