About the host
Hosted by Jessica Hughes

We are a family of four Texas transplants and have lived in the Twin Cities since 2017. We love living in Minnesota and enjoy sharing our slice of "up north" heaven with all of our amazing guests. We don't cut corners with what we supply to our guests and love to delight others. So often guests will message after checking in being surprised by how nice our cabin is. The pictures are a true representation of what we expect the cabin to look like when you check in! We will get back to you very quickly to answer any questions you may have about the property or the area - we aim to make your stay as terrific as we can!
Why they chose this property
After searching on/off for a MN/WI cabin since 2008, we finally found "the one" in 2022. The calm, quiet, and inner peace we feel here is unparalleled. Each month brings with it something unique to do with the changes of the seasons. We love being so close to State Parks and lakes without the congestion of the cities. After being guests in a variety of properties and going tent camping, we zeroed in on what we wanted. The goal was affordable glamping in house form. This is it! Most guests will comment about how peaceful and quiet the property is and truly that is something we can't sum up with a picture, you just have to experience it for yourself.
What makes this property unique
This newer cabin has amazing creature comfort benefits. For one - central air conditioning is often not something you find in a cabin. We also have a two-car heated/insulated garage that you can use. No light pollution makes stargazing quite awe inspiring. Fiber to the home internet means fast speeds, lots of devices - better than what we have in the Twin Cities! The bird watching opportunities are delightful and one of the main things we love about staying at Oso Verde.
