Charming Retreat Downtown Chelsea 4 bed 2 bath

A beautiful, remodeled 100+ year old home in the charming downtown area of Chelsea. Located near the new DTE bike trails, a short walk to downtown, and just minutes from great hiking in the Waterloo Recreation Area. We are located close to many local wedding venues as well! Our home will be spotless and well sanitized for your stay. We also provide snacks, water bottles, tea and coffee. If you need any baby or toddler items, we can provide things like baby gates, bed rail, pack n play, high chair, etc. A Christmas tree can be provided for holiday bookings.

The Space
We remodeled the entire home and kept the character, but blended in with a transitional style. We have a well-stocked kitchen for any cooking needs. We aim to make your stay comfortable and well-stocked, so you get more than a starter pack of supplies for your stay. We have a Smart TV in the family room that has a Netflix account for the house. We recently upgraded our listing from a 3 bedroom to a 4 bedroom property. There are now 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom upstairs. There is 1 bedroom with a queen bed on the main level with a door to a handicap accessible bathroom. There are some kid safety outlet covers on some plugs. A high chair and baby gate can be provided for the top of the stairs if requested.

Outside
There is a front and backyard camera and the house rules of quiet after 10 pm are enforced. NO fires or outside gatherings after midnight. Our neighbors and cameras both notify us of any problems not regarding city noise ordinance and house rules.

There is a gas grill, an outdoor firepit with 8 chairs along with string lights, and a play area for kids. We can provide secure bike storage in our shed for those biking in the area. You can walk from our backyard to the Clock Tower area, Grateful Crow or Jet's Pizza, and downtown to explore several fun shops and yummy food options.

Guest access
The upstairs and main level are all available except for the areas locked. We ask that you stay out of the unfinished basement. There is closet and drawer space in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The items in the kitchen on the top two shelves in the upper cabinets and everything in small china cabinet are not to be used.

Other things to note
Prefer two-night stays on weekends.

Trash pick up is Tuesday and recycle pick up is Thursday. You may hear the trucks in the morning on those days.

During the Summer, Sounds & Sights is on Thursday nights, featuring live music and other family and kid activities throughout downtown. The town is busy this night, so be mindful of that when making dinner arrangements.

We are located about 20 minutes from Ann Arbor, 5 minutes off the highway.
