Enjoy your privacy , commune with nature and witness breathtaking sunsets. with only a 10 minute ride into Onancock proper. This custom home was built by a well respected Eastern shore craftsman in 2005 and sits on a 5-acre lot with an adjoining 5 acre wooded parcel next door for complete privacy. The charming neighborhood of East Point is a walk or bike ride down the road with a small beach for residents and guests. There is a dock for waterside enjoyment and a large yard. The water depth can accommodate a skiff or similar. Thicket Creek is protected, but the open Chesapeake and Onancock creek are just on the other side of the marshes for spectacular views

The open concept living/dining area provides a water view from almost every window. In fact, on clear days you can see Watt Island and Tangier Island out on the open Chesapeake.
We have plenty of water toys available for use, gas grill, kayak, floats, 4 adult bikes, fire pit and more. The small private for residents and guests neighborhood beach in East Pointe is within walking distance or car with chairs and gear. About the host
Hosted by Valerie Williams

We are new to this home but not to the Eastern Shore. We've been in Harborton since 2004. Some of you may have stayed with us at "Harborview" our previous VRBO rental, where we enjoyed being a "premier host"! We were ready for a change but committed to staying on the Shore, so this is our latest venture! We've been on the Shore since 2001 with our first property being on the seaside in Metompkin.
Why they chose this property
We wanted something newer, with a little less maintenance than our previous 1895 renovated home. We also appreciate the privacy afforded by this new location. We can commune with nature, visit neighbors in East Point or run into Onancock for a quick errand or the amazing donuts at the Corner Bakery!
What makes this property unique
We really feel one with nature in this home. We watch wildlife both out front in the field and out back on the water. We see geese, deer and an amazing variety of birds. It's really like living on a boat. The water view from the rear is ever changing. You can see Watt Island from inside and on clear days, Tangier Island with it's twinkling string of lights at night! It's truly a magical location! The grounds are very private, but the charming neighborhood of East Point is a quick walk away, so it's the best of both worlds.
