Treat yourself and your loved ones to a secluded and quiet escapade at this beautiful 15 acre historic home built - the last of the Tate family homes! Delight yourself with beautiful mountain views that can be seen anywhere, especially from the huge deck. The deck hosts a private hot tub (perfect for bubbly evenings enjoying the outdoors and overlooking the mountains), plenty of seating options, and a propane grill for warm-weather barbecues. Off of the deck is a beautiful screened-in porch with bar-style seating for two, a side table/cooler combo, and a Bimini ring. Gather around the outdoor firepit and tell your favorite stories, or pick any of the yard games available for an entertaining evening outside. A hiking trail down to the river on the property can be accessed via the trail marker signs starting to the left of the cabin.

Inside, this two-story home plus loft welcomes you with a rustic ambiance. This retreat has been built from logs hewn from native trees and stone pulled right out of the grounds of this amazing property. In order to retain the original charm, careful attention was given to architectural lines and tasteful integration when the newer suite expansion was built. The basement slate rock floor has been pulled off the marble quarry. This space is perfect for family entertainment - you will find a Ping-Pong table, dartboard, plenty of board games, a four-person table, smart TV, and a beverage fridge. For sleeping accommodations, there is a private bedroom with two inviting beds and a full bathroom with a standalone shower.

Upstairs is the main living space of the home. Vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams will greet you the moment you step inside. The inviting living area hosts two comfortable loveseats surrounding a smart TV. The adjoining dining table has enough space for up to six people. The beautifully-appointed kitchen is complete with all major appliances, including a full-size fridge, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, a Crock-Pot, and more. Off of the kitchen is a half bathroom with a washer/dryer. This level is also home to the spacious primary bedroom featuring a comfortable bed, a beautiful nook by the window with two armchairs, a smart TV, direct deck access, vaulted ceilings, and an en suite bathroom with a jetted tub, standalone tiled shower with a shower bench, and dual vanity. This home also has a loft area with another bed and a queen sofa bed.

THINGS TO KNOW

Great Cabin & View
The cabin and view were outstanding. The roads getting to the cabin weren’t bad and not too steep. All but the drive leading to the house were paved. We anticipated being able to fish while there since the cabin description says the trail leads down to a river. This is misleading. We never even saw water from the trail. Unfortunately our first morning we woke to no power or water for almost 5 hours. While waiting for the power and water to come back on, a lawn company shows up to blow all of the leaves. I would think this should be scheduled prior to someone checking in to the cabin due to the noise it creates. The next morning we were awakened at 5am to a high pitched alarm going off. After frantically trying to figure out were the noise was coming from we realized it was the Carbon Monoxide detector telling us the battery needs changed. We had some bad luck with this cabin, but overall it is a beautiful place to stay. The hot tub was wonderful along with the ping pong table, darts, fire pit, etc.

Cabin with a view
If your looking for a place to stay with an amazing view then this is your cabin! It was very clean, spacious, plenty of games for my kids to play like ping pong, darts, board games, and a hot tub! The town of Jasper was adorable with great restaurants! I highly recommend this cabin to anyone. It was also easy to get too. If I had any questions the staff was very helpful!

A hidden gem in the mountains
We stayed here with my family of 8. Myself, my husband, mother, and 5 kiddos. This was the perfect place to retreat to after a busy day exploring the cities around us during the day. Maintenance came out right away as soon as we did need a hot tub cleaning. ( we were there 6nights) Front desk and housekeeping were also amazing and messaged right back. Super friendly and highly recommended!

Beautiful view! We LOVED it!
We stayed at the treehouse retreat this past week and absolutely loved the property. It is close to town, but also has great privacy and beautiful views! The grounds are well-maintained with lovely wildflowers and we even saw some hummingbirds. The house is really clean and spacious. We had plans a few days and my kids complained that they just wanted to hang at the house. The kitchen is well equipped and they have pretty much all you need for an infant to be comfortable. the hot tub was awesome and we used it daily. The beds were really comfy and we slept great in the quiet of the mountains! A couple of suggestions that didn’t really impact our stay…we would have loved a rocking chair or two on the large decks. We also were there a week so having access to a vacuum would have been great because there are large rugs and I really like to keep my floors spotless. Only one broom made it hard because the decks could have used a sweeping but I didn’t want to use the same broom on the deck and then on the rugs. The light on the flagpole beamed in through the master window, which ended up not bothering us as much as we thought it would because the baby was sleeping in the same room and it kind of served as a night light. Lastly, the clothes racks were helpful, but we needed some hangers. None of these suggestions made us have a less than wonderful stay! It seemed like this place is newer to the rental market and the owners are doing a great job to make it perfect! We would definitely go back to the treehouse retreat and have already sent the link to friends who saw our pics and want to go!
