Upon entry into this lovely home you will walk into our open concept living room with a fold out sofa, a gas fireplace, flat screen TV, half bath housing the washer/dryer, and the updated kitchen with clean counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Up the stairs you will find 2 bedrooms and a full bath to share. The master bedroom houses a Queen sized bed, a Twin Bunk Bed, flat screen TV, and a private East facing balcony looking towards the Red River Ski Area's "Face" with the Red River that flows to the right across the lot. The guest bedroom features a queen sized bed and flat screen TV.
This home is complete with Fiber Optic Wi-Fi and satellite TV so when you want to kick back and enjoy your evenings after a fun filled day then you have the amenities to do so... This home has gorgeous views from each of the decks/balconies.

This was a great place for us for a family ski vacation after Christmas. The townhouse is small but had everything we needed. The location was fantastic- just 2 or 3 minutes to drive to the ski area and right off the main road. The only thing that would have made it more comfortable would be a recliner or extra couch instead of the 2 uncomfortable chairs in the living room.

This space was really nice and very clean and organized. Some of the issues I had were, was getting the gas fireplace started. The instructions were too vague and did not explain how to turn on the gas, which we found later next to the wall furnace that did not work. Also, the listing says it has an outdoor fire pit but that was missing. The biggest issue I had was the listing showed one room with a QUEEN BED. This was false. The bed was actually a FULL and I almost fell off the bed several times while sleeping with my wife.

1st of all I've stayed in many VRBO vacation house, never have I been so disappointed.
#1 all rental properties I have stayed in offered a welcome letter on how all things work, internet codes, instructions on how to leave the property. It was so bad we had to call the realtor to come to the property.
# 2 We had to plug the TV in to turn it on and off, no controls. We showed the realtor when wee checked in, she said she would bring us a control. 7 days latter, still no realtor.
# 3 Listing say completely furnished. Both bathrooms had 3 rolls of 1/2 roll of toilet paper. Kitchen had 1 roll of paper towels
Now my vacation is getting bad because my wife isn't happy.
# 4 Sand in the washing machine.
#5 Front door will not shut unless you slam it shut. Door and door jamb are in bad shape. Maybe owner need to contact realtor to find out why they haven't reported these problems.
#6 Coffee pot makes warm coffee -- Now I'm mad
#7 The appliance - Oven only works on high, now low are medium
#8 All pots and pans are nasty and worm out, Cast iron skillet was rusted, only had 8" frying pan, when you opened base cabinets they where full of odd and in stuff people left.
#9 Outside gas grill hasn't been clean it years.
Summary- This could be a great place to stay, great location, easy access to all of Red River
I'm hoping the reaches the Owner so the could fix the problem which is the Real estate company who cleans and manages this property
Like I said earlier, The realtor came on our check in day, but never came back as promised

Thank you for your feedback Todd! We apologize that you seemed to have less than a spectacular time. First off, you were sent an email containing door and wi-fi codes and check in/out instructions the day prior to your arrival. Secondly, property manager DID come back and attempt to fix/reprogram the remote as we just had it replaced. We currently are putting together a "guest book" on how to operate. Third, We supply a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, shampoo/conditioner, trash bags etc. as stated in the VRBO listing and in your check in information packet that you received prior to check-in (manager DID give you extras while at the home addressing the remote issue). We do not supply an endless buffet of these items. Fourth, management is not aware of any sand in the washer and have had 0 complaints so we will take a look into this. Fifth, we will have our handyman go take a look at the door jambs and see if they can repair or if they need replaced. Sixth, we tried out the coffee pot and it was just fine. We will take a look at the stove/oven, the pots/pans, and the grill. The management company JUST took over this unit less than 30 days prior to your arrival from a previous company and have not been able to do a deep clean as of yet so NOT the problem. We've had NO complaints regarding any of these items you have listed above but will happily take a look and make adjustments as needed! Have a blessed day...
This cabin is an awesome place to stay in Red River. The location is perfect. Easy to walk to almost anywhere in town if you don't want to drive. Great view of the ski mountain. Lindsey was super helpful and very quick to respond to my questions. Highly recommend staying here.
