Classic Carolina Beach House - perfect for family vacations

Freshly Renovated -- Classic Carolina Beach House.

We are the third house from one of the most beautiful and least crowded beaches on the island. You might get lucky and catch a glimpse of a sea turtle.

This house was designed to entertain groups of friends & family and recently underwent extensive renovations. In August of 2019, a new deck was added.

Enjoy a cook's kitchen with granite countertops, stainless appliances, and a built-in island with bar seating.

There are two separate living areas, each with a new HD flat-screen television. The main living room has a 14-foot cathedral ceiling and original heart pine floors.

The second living area comes complete with a kitchenette, which includes a full-size refrigerator, full-size sink, and microwave. Both kitchens are fully stocked with silverware, stoneware, appliances, glasses, cups, etc.

The house sits on a large lot and boasts a fully fenced back yard.

Multiple in-door and out-door seating areas, 2 decks, and a shaded patio area by the pool. Sit on the deck, watch the children in the pool and enjoy the sound of the surf.

Wi-Fi is provided.

We also provide beach chairs, a beach umbrella, water toys for the pool and multiple beach carts, with large wheels, so you can easily get your family and all necessary toys and supplies to the beach with ease.

The property is in a quiet and secluded neighborhood with very little traffic. It is close to Publix, Whole Foods, Kroger and the Harris Teeter grocery stores. There are multiple restaurants nearby.

Property canceled with 3 days notice

We did not stay here. The property manager canceled our booking with 3 days notice. Vrbo was great and got us rebooked, but this booking seems to never have gone away. The manager double booked it. Thank goodness for Vrbo taking care of its customers and saving our vacation.

Relaxing stay

Property was what we expected from the listing. Nice pool, close to the beach and the right size for our family. We loved the bike trails and parks in the area.

Great location

Short walk to the beach. You can drive and park if you want but space is limited. Get there before 9:30 if driving. House could use a little TLC but no complaints except one section of fence needs to be repaired. Kids loved the pool! We had plenty of room and two fridges came in handy. Would stay there again.

Summer vaca

Nice property in wonderful location. Pool was nice, plenty of room for all the family, kids and dogs to play. It did say the back yard was fully fenced but the dogs immediately were out and we noticed that a large section of the fence was missing. We blocked the area and it was fine for the rest of the week. Everything else was great.

Preschool friendly

Perfect location for littles that are active- dated but liveable. Only one tub but has several high chairs and pack n plays. Short walk to beach is our favorite feature. We’ve stayed here two years. Toilet in Jack and Jill bedroom and in kids bedroom both sluggish. Outdoor shower by pool.

Why they chose this property

The property is just steps to the beach. For the golfers, you are close to some of the Island's best courses. We have played many of the courses and some of our favorites are: Palmetto Hall (both courses), any of the Port Royal courses, Indigo Run, Hilton Head National, the Country Club of Hilton Head, Golden Bear Course, Palmetto Dunes, and the Harbour Town Course.

What makes this property unique

The house is centrally located with quick access to all areas of the island. There are multiple grocery stores, a Sam's Club, two gyms, and public tennis courts all less then 2 miles from this home.

There are many good restaurants nearby (see link from main page) as well as activities for the small ones -- Adventure Cove (arcade games & Putt-Putt) is just up the street.
