About this property
The BRD Nest Mississippi River views backdropped by majestic Minnesota bluffs
Breathtaking Mississippi River and Minnesota Bluffs views sprawl across the entire kitchen, dining and both up and down living rooms making this a home for relaxing and a true River vacation.
The kitchen is fully equipped with many small appliances including an instapot, several crockpots, food processors and blender. There is an entire drawer with grilling utensils and a gas grill to have a cook out and enjoy the outdoors with the woods behind you! Watch the barges and boats go by in the dining room that seats 6 comfortably on plush padded chairs. The coffee table adjoining in the upstairs living room also pulls up for those easy eating nights on the couch. The living room is cozy with a soft couch and an oversized chair you will sink into. Sit back in the leather corner chair to watch the sun rise along the Mississippi River while you sip your coffee.
Massive master bedroom with 2 en-suite bathrooms and direct access to patio through sliding glass doors!! Bedroom 2- Front bedroom with en-suite bathroom and beautiful river views. There is a king size bed in this bedroom. Plenty of closet space for you and furnished with heavy oak dressers . Bedroom 3- Relax in the back of the house with elegant furnishings and you also will have beautiful river views from your bed. Bedroom 4- 2 twin beds with soft bedding and plenty of closet space and a dresser in the closet.
Downstairs living room is simple and relaxing with two plug in inflatable pull out couch. The corner lazy chair always gets claimed by that day napper! The downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed and also has the closet filled with play toys for the kids.
We have a large driveway with plenty of space for parking and an additional side paved parking spot great for boats or trailers. We have outside outlets to plug in batteries or outdoor equipment.
You will be spending so much time gazing at the River and the nature around you. The bird watching is spectacular with bald eagles that nest near and come to the river to catch fish. Deer will stroll through the yard and squirrels jump through the huge oak trees. The trains roll through and provide a minute of entertainment, they do not blow whistles or horns at this part of Trempealeau.
We are located .5 miles from Perrot State park with stunning hikes and nature trails! There is plenty to do for endless days of fun! You could walk along the River for a night out at Sullivans Supper Club located .5 miles away. Historic Downtown Trempealeau is .7 miles away with cute shops, restaurants and bars. You can take an afternoon and check out the Duck Pond and watch the children fish. The Trempealeau public boat launch to Mississippi River is located less than 2 miles away and next to the Lock and Dam. For those who love to fish, Trempealeau has several fishing lakes located about 2.5 miles away. There is a local winery and several more incredible wineries throughout the area making for a wonderful drive to see the countryside! There is a bike trail for endless amounts of riding and sightseeing even winter months it’s great for snowmobiling!!
Amazing river breezes and the calmness of the beautiful views will make this a vacation you will want to do over and over.
