The Lake Place

Completely Brand New!!
2 bedroom 1 bath lower level with separate private entrance. Backed up to Salt Creek Trails known for its fishing, trails, and wildlife.
-5 miles to beautiful Lake Michigan and sandy beaches.
-7 miles to Indiana Dunes National State Park where you can enjoy the huge sand dunes & hiking.
-25 miles to Michigan where you can enjoy the well known wine trails.
-50 miles to downtown Chicago where the possibilities are endless.

The space
Basement apartment is completely new including fixtures and furniture. The Lake House includes 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Is fully furnished and includes access to everything you may need from pots and pans to bedding, towels, and toiletries. I try to keep the kitchen stocked with coffee, seasoning, and some special treats. You are welcome to enjoy the shared back yard and even ask to borrow a bike or two to take a ride through the attached bike paths.

Affordable Accommodations Close to State and National Park

We had a wonderful weekend in the parks and enjoyed a clean and comfortable space to come back to after hiking all day.

Great place, great location

I was looking for something central to the Indiana Dunes National Park and this was perfect!! We we within 15 min. of almost everything and the space itself was great for my family to come back to when we we done exploring!

Perfect getaway

My girls and I enjoyed our 4 night stay. Perfect location to hit the beaches and a short drive to Michigan City to hit the outlet mall. They supplied everything we needed to cook our own meals there, it was quiet and cozy. We would definitely stay again!

Our stay at the lake house

Super cute little place to stay and within 20 minutes of the beach. Would definitely stay there again. Only thing that didnt make sense was the parking situation.
