This property is amazing! The location on the Lake is just perfect. We enjoyed many sun filled afternoons on the back deck watching boat traffic and viewing the lake through the gorgeous towering Oak Trees that provide tons of shade. The views from the back deck are a Photographer's Dream!Inside, the beds were super comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. We could not have asked for a better place to say and had the best time!!!

Amazing view and perfect vacation house for our family. Plenty of sleeping room. Not too many steps to get to the water. Fantastic boat house and dock. There are steps from the dock to get into the water making it much easier to swim. House was clean and appointed with every ammenity we could need. Fully stocked kitchen and towels for the lake, as well as games and plenty of water toys! Can't wait to stay here again!!

Highly recommend Lake Al’lure! It is a great location, easy walk to the lake, well stocked with kitchen supplies (there is even a full spice drawer!), many lake toys, gorgeous porches, and all around great home away from home for family to celebrate our Mom’s 80th. My dog even settled in to their dog bed straightaway it was so easy to relax and enjoy. It is so wonderful to be back at Lake Lure. What a gem. We hope to see you again!

Fantastic family fun

We took a shot not knowing much about Lake Lure and we all loved it. The area is beautiful and the house was just perfect. My family really loved the boat house with ping pong. It was very quiet the week we were there. It was so convenient to get to town and also enjoy hiking in the area. We are considering returning next year. The house had everything my family needed and was very clean and comfortable. 5 star for me and my family.

Family vacation

We traveled as 4 adults and 2 dogs. The home was spacious and lovely. The decks were private under the canopy of trees on the property. The walkway to the boathouse was easy to maneuver. Every toy imaginable for our use in the boathouse. The kitchen is a gathering place for us. It was stocked with anything and everything we needed plus some. The big dining room table was perfect for playing games at night. Thank you for a great place to stay on our vacation!

Wonderful listing at a gorgeous location!

My oldest son and his daughter were visiting from California, and we decided to take a long weekend at Lake Lure with them. Having discovered this listing, we feel we should have stayed longer. What a lovely home! And so many amenities lakeside! The entire property is a dream, the stairs down to the dock make you feel like you are in your own world, there's greenery everywhere, and there is a lot of privacy from the neighbors. Gorgeous views from all the terraces, and several common areas where the kids can be loud and away from adults wishing more quiet intimate conversations. Will definitely visit again.

Great location and well stocked kitchen. Kayaks and paddle boards too. Very much appreciated!

We had a great time and have already booked a return trip. The owner should be aware of a few things. 1. Master bedroom sliding door does not close properly. 2. Upstairs living room had only one lamp and it was faulty. 3. Spider web in vaulted ceiling full of gnats. 4. We kept the AC at the recommended temperature but the upstairs bedroom was hot at night. A couple of fans would be great. Again the place is great and we look forward to our return. Thanks!

We had a great time at this home!! Like others have said the driveway is a little tricky but doable! They did a great job keeping it all stocked with so many things that were great to have. The view is absolutely amazing!!!! The boathouse is stocked with everything you can think of to play in the water and the ping pong table was a huge hit for our boys. It’s about 15 minutes from the grocery store which was fine for us but good to know if you’d like to have things with you already when you arrive.

We had a fantastic week at Lake Al'Lure! We were very pleased with how well Lake Lure is recovering from Hurricane Helene. The water was warm and clean and we enjoyed all of the amenities of this beautiful home. There was plenty to do with a large assortment of water toys in the boat house (kayaks, paddle boards, floaties). The kitchen was well stocked with all of the essentials and the beds were very comfortable. This property is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed the deck areas as well as the dock. We would book this house again in a heartbeat! Thank you!

Great stay at lake Lure

Loved the house and location. 3 of the 4 bedrooms were used and everybody slept well. Upper deck has the most comfortable outside chairs and the view was great. Thought the 3rd bathroom was in the house but it was in the houseboat (we used this shower as the downstairs shower [2nd floor] did not have much in the way of water pressure). Not far to the dock, hand rail was partly rope but did not cause too much of an issue for the oldest in the party (last 4 or 5 steps to the dock no rail at all). Used both kayaks and the other floats available. We plan on coming back to this place.

Beautiful property, wonderful accommodations, and pet friendly. The only problem we had was with our little French Bulldog, no area for her to be off her leash outside.
