This house was super cute! We really enjoyed our stay and it was the perfect size for our family of 7! The area was nice and we felt very safe here. Keyless entry was easy peasy. There were a few minor cleaning issues that I found and addressed with the hosts, but I didn't mention it until after our stay was over. They were very apologetic, and I know they would have had the issue taken care of immediately if I had mentioned it earlier. Our hosts left a very helpful little welcome guide on the coffee table. Everything was just as pictured, and the house was very bright and airy. We would definitely stay here again!
Where to begin, this home was definitely a home. My daughter and her babies felt safe and loved the space. We definitely wish we could’ve stayed longer. Every day was special and definitely memorable
We enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and as described. We found the location to be ideal for our visit to Royal Gorge. We would stay again.
We had a fantastic stay and would rebook in the future. Showers are amazing and there was plenty of hot water for 4 people. All the outdoor sitting areas were also very nice.
We had a wonderful stay in Cañon City! The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The location was perfect—close to Royal Gorge, downtown shops, and beautiful hiking spots. The hosts were friendly and responsive, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cañon City, and we’d love to stay here again!

We were to check in at 4 but had to sit for 45 minutes on the porch for the cleaners to be finished. Finally got in and were sitting in the living room when the cleaning lady walked in without knocking and started doing something in the kitchen. Weird! Had to kill several large spiders, dirty towels still hanging in n the bathroom, rug not swept well. Way too much air freshener and no screens on windows so they could not be opened. Patio lights on a timer that didn’t turn them off so had o get up in the night to unplug them. Both queen beds were against the wall so one person could not get out of bed without crawling over their bed mate. I would suggest a better cleaning service. It was quiet and location was good for our plans.

Hi Joan, we are so sorry about the late check in. We were completely blind sided by our cleaners being there so close to check in. They were supposed to have cleaned the house the day before. I did reach out to you when I found out they were there and let you know we would refund you your cleaning fee. It is never acceptable for our cleaners to be there after the check in time and we are taking your advice to look for a new cleaner very seriously. We always want our guests to be comfortable and have a 10/10 stay. I also want to sincerely apologize about the spiders. They do tend to get bad in the summer but we are always trying to stay ahead of it by spraying the home. We will have to do a round 2. I appreciate you bringing that to our attention. We will also be getting rid of the timer for the string lights. We have never had anyone complain about that before and I totally understand how that would be frustrating.
I am sorry that you did not like the placement of the beds, it is a small house and the pictures do reflect the bedroom set up well.
If you are ever in the area again we would love to offer you a discounted stay to give us another try. We take pride in our home and small business and never want a guest to have an experience like this. Hope overall you were able to enjoy canon city.
The sweet couple who owns this location has put a lot of love into their property. It is extremely clean, organized, and thoughtfully stocked. We enjoyed that the Canon City location got us away from the city but still gave us access to wonderful amenities and experiences.
This place met our needs for our stay in Cañon City. May sound weird but I appreciate the amount of towels and toilet paper available ! Oh and having coffee and filters on hand came in handy!
It was good overall. The linens from previous guests were left on-site in a trash bag. Guessing they were left as an oversite. It was adequate for the time we were there.
We had such a lovely time. This sweet little house was immaculate, located in a quiet neighborhood. Great front porch, loved it for relaxing after a long day working. Easy access to everything in town. Every amenity you could possibly need was provided. If you’re in town don’t miss a drive over Skyline Drive that ends just blocks from the house. I go to Canon City once a year for work. I hope this house is available next year.
Very nice house. House was very clean. House was warm & water was hot. Loved waking up to deer in the front yard. Nice neigjborhood. Had pleanty of dishes for a family of 6. Would stay again!

Hi Susie. We wish you would have notified us about the temperature. We do not control it remotely. You just need to slide your finger along the side of the nest thermometer in the living room to control it. We would have been happy to walk you through that if you would have reached out. We apologize it wasn’t comfortable for you.

2 night stay in Canon City
Overall we had a good stay at this property. This was the last home we stayed at during our 8 day road trip around CO. The beds appear to be more of a Full size vs Queen. There were many bugs (crawling and flying) throughout the house, in the bedrooms and kitchen area. The neighborhood was OK. Lots of yelling and cursing by outside neighbors, but we never felt unsafe and of course you cant control what other people do. The basement is off limits and blocked by a baby gate and curtain. It would be better to have a door to block it off as it felt odd to us as we prefer to be able to check out the whole house for safety purposes upon arrival. The managers were quick to respond to us when we had a question and check in was easy. The home was well stocked with kitchen/bathroom supplies.

Hi there! I’m sorry to hear you had a 3 star stay. The beds are all standard Queen size besides the bunk beds. Thanks for bringing the bugs to our attention. We have had guests at the house every day in May and June and no one has mentioned this to us. We will have this issue resolved asap. Typically it is a really quiet peaceful neighborhood with wildlife and the occasional rooster crowing. The basement is only mentioned to be off limits because the ceiling is very low down there and we do not want anyone getting hurt. We still will let guests use the washer and dryer down there if they are comfortable with the ceiling height. The baby gate is only for safety measures so that young children do not fall and get hurt. Hope you enjoyed your trip in Colorado and I apologize you didn’t have an amazing stay! Safe travels!
It was not very change. The fridge and tubs were the worst. But the peopery manager took care of it right away.
However: it was warm in there. There's only a smaller window Unit in the kitchen. It stayed about 77-80 in there.
Also, I've never seem so many spiders in my life! There was one even on me. If I had to count I'd say we saw 10-12 spiders, inside the house during our stay.
I bad to go buy a big pan to cook, the pans offered were smaller. But plenty of plates and what not. The ice machine was a plus and the bathtubs were large.
