Why they chose this property
Trip Down Memory Lane is the first property Jessica and our three girls stayed in during our first trip ever to the Smoky Mountains! We stayed during December and the holiday spirit in Pigeon Forge was exciting and contagious. We visited Dollywood, of course, The Island, and took in all the sights of Pigeon Forge. Our favorite memory of this trip was taking in the sights and decor of Trip Down Memory Lane. Everywhere you look, you will see something new you didn't notice before.
Our girls loved all the porch swings: the living room, the front porch and the backyard. Our personal favorite is the Ford truck hatch porch swing in the backyard and of course, the view of the ferris wheel in the evening. We were even visited by some sweet cows in the backyard.
Over time, we got to know Steve and Darlene, the previous owner/hosts. This home was previously an antique store and then over time during Steve and Darlene's ownership, they continued the antique collecting and added so many perfect pieces and memorabilia to the house. The amount of detail and love they put into Trip Down Memory Lane makes it truly something special. When we had the opportunity to purchase this home, we couldn't pass it up. We are thrilled to continue the tradition of hosting guests here on their Pigeon Forge vacations. We hope you enjoy your stay!
