The older kids can have their privacy on the bottom floor with the queen room and double bunk while the adults get the master rooms. Want to watch the volleyball game but are not in the mood to play? The second-floor media room is equipped with a lookout of the volley court.

Perhaps you do enjoy the hustle and bustle of the Outer Banks, and if so this home is only a short drive from Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, Duck, and Manteo. Grab lunch at Fish Heads Raw Bar located on the Outer Banks Pier, or take a day trip south to visit Hatteras Island’s Shipwrecks of the Atlantic Museum, the Native American museum in Frisco, and tons of shops and restaurants. Wonderful and convenient Spring Break

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The layout of the home was perfect for a large family. Heated pool and hot tub worked perfectly and served us well as the weather was spotty for beach enjoyment.Many games of pool were played. The double dishwashers and ice maker were additional positives for us.

While we are extremely thankful for the opportunity to gather for family thanksgiving a few things could be stated. The house certainly needs cosmetic attention. In addition details to the cleaning could also use improvement. The house was definitely functional, however would probably be hesitant to stay here again unless a few changes were made. Thanks again

Unexpected Impact From September Storm

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although our arrival was delayed due to the storm, we had hoped the week at the house would make up for it. Our disappointment started when we arrived on Sunday to find no cable/internet, sand in the pool and on the pool deck, and stairs to the beach buried in sand. The management company told us all would be fixed on Monday, however it wasn’t till Tuesday that cable was repaired and the pools/patio was cleaned. Our neighbors next door got lucky, as their pool was clean by 6pm on Sunday night. The manager told us the homeowner would not provide any compensation for the lost 2 days. As the week continued, we dealt with roaches, cable tv that didn’t work properly and a house in generally poor condition. With sand/hair on the floor, dirty windows, dusty vents/furniture, damaged and stained furniture and exposed plumbing (missing sheetrock) could not quite enjoy ourselves inside. Outdoors, we dealt with a BBQ tank valve that wouldn’t close, fence doors that didn’t open, peeling paint, loose locks on sliding doors, and a kiddie pool with stagnant water (we knew the pool filter needed to be fixed, but the pool should have been drained). We made the best of what we could, and will choose another house, and another management company next year. Please be careful when you rent or buy.

A+ Vacation Beach House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: his was an awesome beachfront house in a great location. The house was clean and very accommodating for our family. We filled 7 of the 8 bedrooms without one complaint. Both upper levels had a nice deck overlooking the pool and beach. We had fun on the volley ball court and used the driveway for a family corn hole tournament. Having 2 kitchens came in handy. Our group filled them both! The private walkway to the beach was a nice feature. In the past I just got an ocean front motel room. Having this house allowed me to extend an invitation to bring my family close together....from OH, PA, and TX. It’s my 4th trip to OBX, but the first time getting a house and inviting family. I would definitely do this again.

Beautiful beach house - Needs Better Maintained and Internet

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful and location great. However, very frustrating with internet issues that were never resolved despite numerous efforts and complaints. Needs updated and better maintenance. Kiddie pool cracked tile and weeds growing out of it. Bathrooms had loose towel racks and toilet issues. Had to take lid off of tank to deal with. No remote control for tv in kids bunk room. We had children and teenagers and 4 adults that needed to work on computers so was very challenging and frustrating to not have internet working for most of the week. Realty company was quick to respond however, never resolved the issue completely. We had to be available to let them in for 2 days and once they left, the internet went back out. I would not recommend if you need reliable internet and want to watch tv at night. Also, refrigerator door inside ice maker is broken and swings at you when you open. Ice maker did not work, had a portable ice maker that was not efficient for the size of the household. We had to buy ice all week. I would stay again if these issues were resolved, otherwise not.
