About this property

This is a 2 bedroom and 2-bathroom condo that overlooks the Jetty's and Destin Pass. There is a king bed in the master bedroom and 2 twins in the guest bedroom. This unit provides a full kitchen, dining, and living room that are tiled. Both bedrooms are carpeted. Enjoy time out on the balcony overlooking the water and also has the best view of the sunset. The Islander offers family activities Monday thru Friday during the summer and spring break. There are 2 beautiful pools and hot tubs to enjoy. In the mood for a game of tennis, pickle ball, shuffleboard or basketball, just stop by the front desk. This unit comes with 2 beach chairs and an umbrella complimentary from March1 to October 31.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it’s a really nice place. The ac wasn’t really strong enough to keep our room as cool as we’d like. When we arrived there was still debris in the master bath( the top to an aerosol can of sorts). That just makes you wonder about the attention to detail. If that was neglected, what else was left undone.

False advertisement

The property states it’s beach front. It is not. You can see the ocean from the balcony but you have to walk the entire property to get to the beach access point. The master bedroom is the hottest room in the condo. My husband and I slept separately for two nights because it was so warm in the bedroom. (I slept on the couch.) It may have been better if we could have turned the air down past 67. We found a box fan in the closest and had to sit it in the master bedroom door entry to get any kind of relief. We barely slept. We are looking forward to getting home and sleeping in a cool bedroom and catching up on the sleep we did not get on this trip.

Awesome Place to Stay!!

The experience of this place was tranquility when you needed the peace and quite and exciting and fun when you were in the mood. The place is close proximity to grocery stores, eatery and games for the children. Awesome experience!!! I can't wait until next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was nice with great views. If you are looking for immaculate this is not your place, the showers have caulking that’s moldy and falling out the bed is very hard and the pillows are basically pillow cases. If you just need a place to lay your head and want beach service it’s fine
