You will be awestruck by stunning views of the Pacific Ocean with the waves to the west and the coastline to the south with views of the city lights of La Jolla! You will be mesmerized watching the surfers ride the waves, enjoying the memorable sunsets and frequently seeing the dolphins frolic through the waves; all from your private deck on the second floor. Del Mar Shores Terrace is located along the oceanfront bluffs in Solana Beach. Stairs down to the beach are adjacent to the complex. Beach chairs and boogie boards await your use! Bicycles and Paddle Boards are available to rent close by, or simply take a nice walk or jog along the beach. The complex offers an oceanfront pool and spa and a secured gated community with one designated parking space in a covered garage.

Fantastic stay, host was easy to connect with. As soon as you walk in the door the ocean view hits you. Bed was a California king and bathroom was updated. Near everything you could need on a vacation….. cool place !

The condo is awesome! The place was extremely clean and the views out the window were incredible. The location is great as neighborhood is very walkable. I would recommend this place to anyone! Hoping to come back some day soon! Host was very helpful and responsive with any questions!

Getting a beach fix

This condo on the beach is perfect. We sat and watched the surfers and dolphins every morning before going out and walking the beach. The condo is well stocked with all the kitchen supplies, beach toys, comfortable bed and everything you need to have a great beach vacation. Tawne was great to work with and we’ll be back for our next beach fix.

The apartment if lovely. The view is fantastic. Saw lots of surfers every morning which was interesting to watch. The beach is spot less and plenty of room although the trek up and down is a bit much. All in all it was great. We would stay there again if the ant problem is better. Tawne was very help with everything. Love the place.

My husband and I live in Indian Wells, California near the Palm Springs area. My children and grandchildren live in North County San Diego and we are blessed to have them so close and that we can frequently get my grandchildren fix! The Condo as been a second home for me for many years as I have been coming to Solana Beach since 1975!

Why they chose this property

Our ‘Ocean Colors’ condo has been in the family since 1983! It was newly remodeled in 2022, where I created the ‘Ocean Colors' theme by blending the various blue colors of the ocean along with the color of the sand. This is a very special place and I have had a great time making it a romantic and fun setting for all to enjoy. I maintained the colors of Cobalt Blue, which was from the first remodel in 1983. In fact, after the beautiful sunsets on a clear day my mother would always remind us that it was ‘Cobalt Blue Time', where the sky glows of a rich Cobalt Blue on the front patio; enhanced even deeper through the windows while sitting in the living room. With the second remodel the color of Teal and Turquoise was added. I brought the colors all together to give you a feeling of the ocean on the inside to match the fabulous ocean colors from our views of the ocean and beach!
