Vintage architecture with a fun new design. Huge windows! Even the bathroom has a huge walk-in shower with a killer view (of the ski hill) you will not believe! Located on the bike path, and right at a bus stop, so it's easy to get to. (WiFi is 2.4ghz/5.0ghz)

The space
Bedroom #A has a new Queen-sized Tuft & Needle brand mattress that sleeps two people. It also has a new Twin XL mattress that sleeps one person. Bedroom #B has a new Queen-sized Tuft & Needle brand mattress, and 2 new Twin XL-sized Tuft & Needle brand mattresses. These are very comfortable and supportive. If you have a large group of people, there are extra sleeping places on the first floor. The first floor living room/den area has a sleeping nook with a Queen size mattresses from Tuft & Needle brand and also a Full over Full bunk bed. There is a sliding privacy curtains to give these beds some privacy. Plus there is also a full size couch someone could sleep on. Sleeps up to 13 people.

Plus, every guest enjoys fresh clean sheets, pillows, and comforter or sleeping bag. The bedroom floors are covered in thick high-quality rubber mats that feel great to move on and reduce impact. They are wonderful to sit down on, exercise on, or even sleep on.

Note: We manage three large lots that are located next to each other. This Aframe listing is on the middle lot. We have another Airbnb listing on the lot next to this one. Just to give you a heads-up, both properties use the same entrance from the street. However, the listings are located on different lots. So there is plenty of space and privacy. Each listing has its own reserved parking spaces. There is plenty of privacy here. This Aframe listing is very private — it includes its own outdoor "natural patio" surrounded by trees, and also outdoor table and chairs.

Great location

Awesome location with many beds - very close to Warm Springs. Ample parking. Only one bathroom and no TV in the house. Dan was a great host - very communicative.

This was such a fun area to stay in-especially in Labor Day weekend when the town celebrates their history with a wagon parade and festivities. Pluses of the property-location-lots of comfy beds-a full kitchen- clean-fun retro video games and movies-fully stocked kitchen dishes, etc.-beautiful area-great location-incredible town-groceries and restaurants and hot springs near by. There were a few down sides-lots of garbage at the curb-random moos and brooms and other items in the yard-outdoor chairs were broken and there is no BBQ grill of fire pit (that is city law). Should be aware there are only two beverage size refrigerators and one freezer that fit under the counter. The stove has one burner out. However, the owner immediately responded to concerns. I communicated these issues and I’m sure he addressed them quickly. I loved our stay here.

Cozy Mountain Stay

Dan's place is the coziest triple A Frame minutes away from the Warm Springs parking lot for Sun Valley ski resort. We had 12 people and somehow did not have trouble navigating the only one bathroom. The shower was nice and hot. The kitchen was well stocked (could use a few more smallish spoons). The kids LOVED playing and wrestling on the cushy floor. The bunk bed mattresses were a little firm, but every other mattress was Tuft & Needle and so darn comfortable. One of our couples immediately bought a new mattress for their home after spending four nights here. If you keep heading up Warm Springs Road, we came to a forest road that was closed (in winter) and took a lovely hike, spotting an elk herd. We even spent one evening in the hot springs just off of the road. Dan was available by phone/text and was nearby if we needed anything (we did not). We had the best time.

Super Bowl Ski weekend

Our group of friends had a great time at the A-Frame! There was plenty of seating for all of us, everyone had a bed, and we did really well having just one bathroom. We loved the projector set up! We were able to plug a laptop in and stream movies as well as the Super Bowl in the evenings after a day on the slopes! Walking to the lifts was easy, 5-7 minutes at most but also super easy to have one person shuttle everyone back and forth. The kitchen had plenty of counter space and plates/bowls/utensils for everyone. The only thing I’d note about the kitchen is that there’s only two pots, two skillets, one baking sheet, and two medium sized mixing bowls. Our group is big on cooking at the house rather than going out to eat so we had to get creative prepping our meals. There is also limited fridge space, but we kept coolers in the snow outside so we had plenty of extra for what we needed. Overall, 5/5 stars! It was the perfect place for our group of ski bums and we hope to be back again next year! Thanks so much, Dan!!
