46 km to the south from Mikkeli, Lake Saimaa/Käenniemenselkä 15 m, hard, steadily deepening sand bottom, pier and rowing boat.

Rustic log cabin 1980, completely renovated 2019, living room, kitchen, three bedrooms (approx. 11 m²) with two beds in each, washroom with shower and WC, large terrace. Two beds and a sofa bed for two in the loft. Air source heat pump.

Lakeside sauna 1980/2019, dressing room, sauna with wood-burning sauna stove, shower and big landscape window facing the lake. Bathtub in the terrace can be rented. The rental fee is 50 euros/holiday period. Remember to fill the bathtub according to the instructions before you fire it on.

There are two alternative beds in the storehouse during the summer.
This destination is not available for groups which consists only people whose age is less than 25 years.
Note! Tap water does not meet the standards of household water, so please bring drinking water with you. Villa Moose is a high-quality rental villa for a comfortable holiday even for a larger group. In the sunny yard, you can play and have fun, lakeside sauna is a nice place to relax at the end of the day.

There are good terrains for picking berries and mushroom. Also, good fishing waters nearby.

The deepest point of Saimaa “Käenniemi well” is about 5 km away by boat. The Astuvansalmi rock paintings are about 9 km away by boat, by car distance is about 48 km. There is a boat ramp in the plot, the slope is steep and the best way to launch a boat, is to do it with a four-wheel drive car. You can rent electric outboard from the owner. Please reserve the outboard motor in advance, and verify the operating radius.
