Overall a great experience. The house was nice and the layout was perfect for a family with kids aged 11-14 who also brought along some friends! Easy drive in a car or golf cart over to the beach and a great location on the canal. Downstairs area offered fishing and kayak's for the kids.
This property was immaculate!
It literally had anything you could possibly need! It was decorated beautifully, not cluttered at all.
The fact that every bedroom had its own full bathroom was the most amazing thing ever. We’ve been coming down to Jamaica Beach since 2015. This by far was the best house we ever stayed in! Will definitely be back!
I thought parking was gonna be an issue, but being able to leave the cars is at the park with no problems was great.
I love the house and all the bathrooms in it🙃
And the ground floor with the bar TV sitting area, great🏖️🌴🍻✌
Wow, what a beautiful and spatious home in the perfect location. We recently stayed here for our vacation with my wife and three boys. We had an amazing time fishing, relaxing on the patio, playing, and going to the beach. This home was perfect and very well stocked with all of the necessities. The owner was super friendly and very accomodating. We plan to come back next year!! My kids wanted to move in and live here, but I had to inform them we couldnt afford that. lol

Thank you, Jason! We are so glad to know that you had a lovely time. We appreciate you staying with us and hope to host you again in the future.
The home was beautifully decorated and clean! Beds were comfortable and we loved having a bathroom for each bedroom! The floorplan is so well laid out. The bunkbed room was perfect for all the young cousins to stay in too!
The only wish we had was that there was beach chairs to use and propane for the grill. We had to buy propane, and not be able to take it with us!
Beach chairs would be nice so again, we dont need to purchase or commute with them from our long travels.
Homeowner was a pleasure to work with and very helpful too! we will rent this one again!!
Thank you for a great stay!! We give it 5 stars!!
The house was clean and well-appointed, but potential renters should be aware of some important concerns. The rules enforced by the owner are significantly stricter than what is indicated online or in the provided documentation. Additionally, there was an undisclosed camera on the property, which was not mentioned in any of the rental materials. During our stay, the owner contacted us multiple times with additional rules that were not clearly communicated beforehand. Renters should proceed with caution and be prepared for unexpected restrictions.

The rules enforced are primarily driven by ordinances put into place by the city of Jamaica Beach and beyond the control of the owner. Specifically, the city strictly enforces a law that requires all STR owners only allow a maximum number of guests into the home based on the square footage of the specific property. The CITY regulates this law, NOT the owners. Your group heavily exceeded our maximum number of guests - you had in excess of 18 teenagers, some of which slept on patio furniture overnight.
The ONLY reason for contacting you multiple times during your stay was to request that you respectfully follow the rules which were clearly stated and provided to you well in advance of check-in. Parking in the grass, utilizing the neighbors’ driveways and kids jumping from the second floor deck in the water, (which is extremely dangerous) are rules that were clearly stated but not followed. Additionally, you were being contacted and warned that the Jamaica Beach police would likely be called by nearby neighbors due to the disruptive behavior and the excessive amount of individuals at our home. The warnings were extended to you as a courtesy.
House was very fresh and clean. Everyone liked the trip and voted to repeat next year. A few things I would change. We were having a extreme heat wave (100+ temps) that made hanging outside not so nice. The seating area under the house could use a large ceiling fan which would make it better. Also the kids swam in the canal but the dock did not have a ladder to get out of the water. We solved that by using the kayaks to help get out with.
