The C suite was perfect for my group. A guys gets away and close enough to get to Lambeau Field. Fire pit on the river was a great way to end the day.

It was a nice home, and a cute location nice neighbors. Very quiet, even the other renters! Very close to Door County. We had plenty of space, everyone slept great, fire pit was a nice addition to the stay. Host is extremely good about updates and making sure your needs are met. You will Enjoy!

Great location right on the channel. Very quiet and comfortable. Having the kayaks available was awesome! Found a great bar (Smashed on the Rocks) on the lake that was walking distance from the property.

We knew there were stairs to our unit. They are quite steep, however we did fine. Just be aware of that for luggage etc.

Really nice unit, perfect for the work trip I had. Plenty of space to stay with coworkers but not feel stuck to them. View of the stream out back is awesome, and got to see the salmon spawn, which was an extra treat.

Great location to stay near Door County. The home was clean and had everything that we could possibly need.The only thing to be aware of is the steep stairs that lead up to the entry door. For great food that's very reasonably priced, check out Homestead Kitchen and Tap. We would definitely stay here again!

the perfect hidden gem getaway

our friend group loved our trip to Algoma! the quaintest little town with much to do around the area. we especially loved the coffee shops in town! Joseph was so kind and helpful, and we would definitely stay here again. would recommend it to anyone looking for a hidden gem getaway :)

We enjoyed our time at this property! It’s a little off the beaten path for Door County sites (a 20-30 minute drive), but we enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle. Enjoyed the welcome gift, and my daughters/husband had fun fishing off the dock and viewing wildlife. We also used the grill and the fire pit. Kayaks were pretty dirty on the inside (more than water) and we couldn’t find a hose to hose them out so we opted not to use them. There was also a wasp problem when we stayed - we dealt with 6 that somehow got into the house. To be fair we did not let the host know, we addressed them on our own. House could have been cleaner - there was visible dust on some of the decor/baseboards, and there were multiple spiders we had to address. Floors looked clean but feet/socks were black after walking on them for any length of time. We agreed that the beds/pillows were comfy. Be aware that there is a steep set of stairs to enter the property - wasn’t an issue for us but could be for young kids or those with mobility issues. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed the unit. My husband loved the fishing. Each unit has a very nice outdoor space. There was an electrical problem in the building and the owner and manager were great with letting us know what was going on and getting it fixed.

Nice Getaway

This was the perfect place to be somewhat near Door County. We walked to nearby restaurants, the brewery and winery. We drove up to Door County each day, it was a bit of a hike, but not horrible. Everything was as it is pictured. It was perfect for 2 couples and 3 adult children.

Riverfront Stay

We enjoyed how close this location is to the downtown area. We were able to walk to the local area, shops, and the festivities taking place during our stay. This second floor rental offered spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms with a nice fire pit pad and easy access to the river for kayaking. The host was very responsive and has essential kitchen dish-ware and appliances. We truly enjoyed stay and would consider coming back!!

Community was amazing I would definitely stay in Algoma again. The property was as described except I wasn't expecting so many narrow stairs to get into the unit so that was a little challenging. While linens were fresh and clean, the floor visually looked clean but left our feet and socks with a dark grime. There were also a few areas of the kitchen that weren't very clean. We were only given 2 extra rolls of tp for a place for 8 people..so we had to make a stop somewhere.The kayaks and outdoor area was really nice. Overall a nice stay just a few little things that would be easy changes.

Too good to be true.

Joseph was an excellent host. Responded immediately with clear and concise answers to my few questions. The house was perfect. We decided to stay outside of Green Bay and see the rural side of things and it was all we hoped for. The kitchen had everything you needed if cooking is in your plans and it sure is with my family. It was like being home. Dinner around the table and full of anticipation to see something new. The people in Green Bay and the surrounding area were awesome. Just a great trip. Correction …the trip was awesome. Buccaneers 34 Packers 20!!
