We stayed three nights and everything was better than expected. Very quiet and relaxing, plus a friendly community. The kids loved the ducks, geese and fish. AC was much appreciated!

This was the perfect getaway! The house was so pretty & had everything we needed. The week we stayed was very hot so the a/c was a definite bonus! Will definitely book again & highly recommend.

Before booking my husband and I reached out to the property owner (or actually what we later found out was a property management company) to ask about parking for our boat and trailer. We were told the boat can be tied up at the end of the dock and that there was ample boat trailer/truck parking. Upon arrival we discovered that was not the case. Also, there were no cleats on the dock anywhere so tying up the boat was very difficult. We also had to pay 30/day at an offsite marina down the road to park our boat trailer. We were disappointed because we were not told the truth prior to booking. If we had known the actual situation we’d have booked elsewhere. Also, the sleeping situation is less than ideal. The Murphy bed behind a couch that you have to move is not great. It took us a moment to figure that out as the layout is not intuitive. Heads up to folks with mobility issues, if moving a sofa across the room to access your bed isn’t possible for you, don’t book this place. I’d also say if you are bringing your boat this place isn’t the best option in town.

Nice view, quiet place

Very clean and comfortable. Murphy bed was was surprisingly nice. Two decks gave great options for getting out the sun when it was hot. Everything works as it should. Neighbors were freindly and not loud.

Ducks Ahoy

We were excited to try staying in a floating house. It is well stocked with essentials. The view from the front porch is of the marina and on our final evening there the wind was perfect for sailing and we watched lots of folks sail around the bay. There are lots of great eating options close by.One thing to be aware of is that the property presents some unexpected challenges for people with mobility issues. The only indoor seating is a hide-a-bed in the living room and a sofa that converts to a Murphy bed in the bedroom. The bed is situated sideways with the head on the left side next to a sofa arm. It's a challenging orientation when one elderly person has to "dive and roll" to get to the inside of the bed against the wall. :-) A positive note: the bed is VERY comfortable. There are no adult sized chairs inside the house and no table for eating or games. There is a comfortable outdoor couch on the front porch with a gas firepit to enjoy a cool evening. The back porch has four Adirondack style chairs but they are SMALL. Fortunately, we live close by so we ran back and grabbed our camp chairs and used them inside and on the back porch.Once we adapted, we really enjoyed the stay. I should have noticed these things in the pictures but there you have it. Now that we know how to prep for us, we'll likely stay again.

BAYVIEW - THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN THE US

We had the most incredible stay at Boats N' Rows in Bayview, ID! We initially stumbled upon this property, but now we can't wait to go back! Everything about the space was so intentionally curated, and it was both cozy and chic! Lake Pend Orielle is simply gorgeous, and the small town of Bayview was no exception. From the kind, neighborly feel from everyone around us to the stunning lake views we were thrilled the entire time. Our favorite thing to do was fish off the back deck in the early morning and evenings! An absolutely unexpected highlight!

Cozy and clean!

We had a blast in this little getaway. Manager of the property very helpful and responsive. Very clean! Primary bedroom a little odd with a couch against the Murphy bed ( you have to shove it out of the way to let the bed down.). Subtitles on tv cannot be removed despite all attempts to get rid of them. Friendly people on the dock, and super close to Captain’s Wheel and Lake House restaurants. Ralph’s Coffee House is close as well for breakfast. Would book again!

Loved the "local" feel of this place, It was very peaceful to be on the lake with ducks and even an otter at one point. Great to have use of the kayaks. Well appointed but simple. Property mgt responded immediately to give code to other lock box as the key was missing in the lock box initially given to us. Downsides: Wi-Fi listed in the notebook at the house, did not work. Toilet in one bathroom needs to be bolted down. Murphy bed and couch set-up in bedroom is funky.

The property all in all was good. The location is beautiful. What we were not told is there is paid parking required, we had no idea until we recieved a nasty letter on our car! Lots of emails and info about parking, not one word about having to pay daily for it. Would have sucked to be towed on vacation. Also, the fold out couch bed was absolutely horrendous, we literally had to take turns sleeping on it (even trading with the kids)so no one person had to deal with the pain from sleeping on it the whole trip. We almost left due to this. We would return to the area. I wouldn't book here with 4 of us again. Better for a couple of 2.
