Very charming farmhouse with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Kitchen was well appointed. Air conditioning was needed and worked great. Firepit had plenty of firewood and chairs. Easy to find location with limited traffic. Will definitely stay again!
Charming historic home with a nicely, updated kitchen, and beautiful outdoor areas. Great for a large group with plenty of places for the kids to run around. Hillary was easy to contact and very responsive. Would definitely recommend.

The home was charming and very well supplied. Only issue was that we were only allows access to 5 of the 6 bedrooms, and so we were short a bed for the 7 adults and 2 children we had arranged to stay there. Otherwise, it was great.

Regarding this review, I’m not sure why because the renter had been advised that one of the bedrooms was under construction. We have converted the upstairs half bath into a full bath by taking a small part of the twin bedded bedroom. The bedroom still had some renovation to complete. The construction is now complete and all six bedrooms are available. However, in this situation with 7 adults five bedrooms would have been sufficient unless they had paid for full occupancy. My pricing is organized so that if your group is smaller than 10-12, you can save money. That’s the reason for the extra person charge. I think that’s the fair way to do it so you’re not paying too much with a smaller group. With 10-12 in your party you would have all six bedrooms. I hope that clears it up the confusion. If anyone has any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Hilary
We enjoyed a week here with a 10 person family gathering. We found it to a very nice location and thoroughly enjoyed it. Highlights for us were...Generously stocked with cleaning, laundry and dish supplies. Including a large selection of Keurig pods, Seasonings/herbs, and oils. Many outdoor locations to congregate and enjoy to farmland views. Including a very quiet backyard swing for 2. A great fire pit.Kitchen is first rate. Easily handling 2 full meals a day. Downstairs bathroom/shower got great reviews from us all. Tons of towels and extra linens with a really good laundry.Wifi handled everything we threw at it without issue. Well set up for outdoor entertainment. There are many games, extra chairs, and 2 full size picnic tables. My main suggestion for potential renters would be to bring longer charging cords. The house predates wired electric so modern outlets are at a minimum in the older front and upstairs bedrooms. Ext cords and powerstrips are provided to help alleviate this, but long charging cords are helpful to get things near you. We would stay again.
Very kind, very clean and you would not know that it’s pet friendly which I’m grateful for as I have allergies. Lovely historic home with lots of rooms and a beautiful view.

Thank you for your stay. Wish you could have stayed longer too. I follow VRBO recommendations and provide two rolls of paper towels, and six rolls of toilet paper. I do not provide condiments. That would be against health codes. I also do not provide aluminum foil. That would also be unsanitary. Thank you for understanding. I appreciate that you enjoyed my beautiful antiques & that you complimented the cleanliness. I use a service locally who are Seventh Day Adventists and they are extremely conscientious. I trust them explicitly.
We had a great stay. The place was very comfortable. The host was easy to reach and very helpful. We had a wonderful time visiting with friends and family around the area.
Great place to stay with small children. There was a fun bunk bed for our toddler and they provided baby gates so that our baby couldn’t climb up the stairs. We had a great visit with family.
This home is very nice and unique. The host was very responsive and welcoming. It accommodated our large crew. We look forward to staying in the future.
My family of four loved this home. Plenty of room, lovely furnishings, and convenient location for the wedding we attended at he Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn.
A beautiful property! The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. Working with Hilary was a pleasure as she responded quickly to all my questions and made the check-in/check-out process a breeze. Would highly recommend!
