BEACH HOUSE DESCRIPTION & AMENITIES:

We would like to invite you to spend your vacation at our private oasis, tucked away by the ocean shore. Bella Villa is a delightful home-away-from-home, steps away from the secluded sands of the North End of Virginia Beach and only a two-mile drive (or walk) to the fun and activities at the infamous Virginia Beach Boardwalk.

This beautifully furnished and privately-owned beach home is STEPS AWAY FROM THE BEACH. You do not need to cross the road - the house is ON THE OCEANSIDE...so very safe and convenient with small children. The home captures the ambiance and charm of a private shore getaway and authentic beach living with luxurious decor.

Spacious and ideal for families with children, couples, and small group retreats, there is always something new to discover at Bella Villa. Listen to the sounds of the ocean from the back deck, enjoy a fun barbecue in the private, fenced-in backyard sanctuary, relax in the refreshing outdoor shower after a sunny day at the beach. Lovely and tasteful with comfortable furniture and new appliances. There is also an extensive, curated book and movie library for your entertainment, and we welcome you to use our beach equipment, beach cart, surfboard, boogie boards and toys during your time on the beach.

An added bonus is the highly-rated and award-winning First Landing State Park, complete with trails, bike paths and lakes, located only one block away from the beach house. A must-see. And don't miss the massage institute and organic cafe at the Edgar E. Caycee campus, only five blocks away.

MAIN FLOOR:
Completely renovated (April 2024), fully-stocked eat-in kitchen (with new floors, cabinets, appliances & fixtures), formal dining room, living room, utility room with washer/dryer, and junior primary bedroom with queen bed and private full bathroom. There is a main entrance but also two other doors, one leading to the outdoor shower, in the side yard, and the other leading to the deck & private yard.

SECOND FLOOR:
Large primary bedroom suite with private full bathroom, 2 more bedrooms and an additional full bathroom in the hall.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES:
-New hardwood floors downstairs and new wall-to-wall carpeting upstairs and in the downstairs bedroom.
-Each bathroom comes with a tub/shower.
-TVs are provided in the living room and in ALL FOUR of the bedrooms. Basic cable is included.
-The kitchen includes a microwave, toaster over, coffee machine and all cookware, stemware and flatware you could ever need. The dining room china cabinet holds platters, wine glasses and other dishes you may need for a more formal dinner.
-Complimentary Internet throughout the house.
-Central air conditioning and gas heat.
-Washer & Dryer.

OUTDOORS:
-Outside shower, storage shed with beach equipment.
-Yard is fenced all around for additional privacy.
-Four designated parking spots out front.
-Gas grill provided for your enjoyment.


PLEASE NOTE:
1. WE RENT SATURDAY TO SATURDAY ONLY IN THE SUMMER MONTHS.

2. SORRY, NO STUDENTS, NO PETS, NO SMOKERS. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD TO RENT OUR PROPERTY. IDs will be required.

3. We have strict occupancy restrictions and in NO instance allow more than a total of 9 people to stay out our home. There is also a maximum of 5 children. This is specifically outlined in our contract and we reserve the right to verify the number in your party at any time. Misinformation on the total number of people staying at the property is grounds for immediate eviction and forfeit of the payment in its entirety.

4. Bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels are NOT provided. Please remember to bring your own. We provide pillows and summer blankets only.

5. We are able to provide you with complimentary wireless high speed Internet and basic cable.

6. This house is a duplex, and we are HOUSE B...in the back, with a private, fenced-in backyard and deck.

7. For your added security, there is a camera placed above the back deck.

Amazing Vacation Property

This home was very comfortable for the 8 of us, ranging in ages from 11 to 70. The proximity to the beach was super convenient. We were close enough to the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas but far enough away to not have to constantly deal with the traffic and noise. We would definitely stay here again. We had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful and relaxing vacation.

Perfect location

The home was a short walk to an amazing beach which was never crowded. Also it was located near the main road so it was easy to get around. We had lots of room and it was nice to have three bathrooms.

Great location

My family (wife, parents, and triplets) stayed here in August of 2012. Very nice location really close to the beach (cross no streets), and a nice house layout that worked well for the family. The owner was incredible to work with, and you could tell that they really cared about you have a great vacation. Beach supplies came in handy, and the beach is incredible... wide, not crowded, and just a beautiful spot. I would highly recommend a beach picnic, get your sandwiches from Taste Unlimited. Hopefully will stay there again.

Great stay

We had a great time during our stay. The house was clean- had everything we needed and had a great location to the beach. There’s a bonus of a lot of beach toys in the outdoor shed- so you aren’t spending a bunch of extra money to make beach trips more comfortable or entertain the kids. The beach is a couple miles off the boardwalk - so even on 4th of July it wasn’t too crowded at all. We were able to see fireworks from either direction that night which was great.

My happy place

I’m a longtime visitor to Virginia Beach. It has been my happy place since my childhood. Sadly, after my father’s passing, we could no longer afford to keep our little family vacation home, but i continue to plan my summer trip there. The Bella Villa was such a great spot for our tradition. Next year I just need to find a larger house so we can all play together there. I will definitely consider staying in Bella Villa again!

Location, location, LOCATION!!!

If you are looking for a property in the quiet North End with great beach access, this is the place! We visited with our 3 grandchildren and two daughters. House fit us well. Every beach need is in the shed. Outdoor hot/cold shower means no sand need get in the house. Beach is empty and beautiful Hosts Diana and Daniel were SUPER responsive to even the smallest need. Hope to come back next summer.

Great location & clean. Short drive to board walk.

The house accommodated 7 of us. Plenty of room. Kitchen was updated and all the appliances work. Side porch was nice and we used it a lot but it needed an umbrella for shade. The yard space isnt very big. Walk to the beach is short but to get closer to the ocean was a walk. We really appreciated the beach cart and used it. The beach itself was never crowded. We left our things there and ran back for lunch we never felt like something would be stolen. The grocery store was a short drive & so was the board walk. When we saw the crowds on the beach there we were glad we stayed in a residential area with no busy streets to cross for beach access. Owner is quick to respond and glad she supplied us w a kuerig

Great house, great week

We enjoyed our week at Bella Villa. Size was perfect for out family of 8. including a toddler. Listing said steps from beach, with the pictures we assumed the wooden walkway was out the backyard. But it was at the end of the block. Not terrible but it was more walking than I expected with a small toddler. Kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed. Would stay again if we had not determined we need a house with a pool for convenience especially on the off and on rainy days.

I am disappointed you had a negative experience. You should have read the description in more details as we do not provide linens. I had this feeling when you emailed us the night before check in that "you just noticed Linens are not included...." As for broken appliances, we are not aware of any. I wish you would have brought any to our attention.

VA Beach house

Our stay was good.The house was well laid out and secure with outdoor recording cameras. The proximity to the beach is great and parking is spacious. Three bathrooms are a big plus. The area is quiet We were misled into thinking this is a stand alone house when it is a duplex. There were multiple flys in the house when we arrived that took us 3 days to kill completely. The trash is the source. There are no linens and towels provided which make it very difficult for those travelling a long distance. For the price of the rental the linens and towels should bemprovided. The outdoor shower was infested with spiders. When we used the outdoor grill, we could only get one burner to light

Thank you for your review of our beach home. The home is a duplex, which is stated in the description as well as in the address. We are house "B" with a private, fenced-in backyard. All descriptions of the home clearly state that linens and towels are not provided, and I apologize if you somehow misread that. We do refer our renters to a local linens service, upon request, which I am happy to do. In terms of the flies, I understand that it is a nuisance. There are 3 doors at the home, and with 9 people coming in and out, I imagine that flies can make their way inside. I will speak with our cleaning crew about this, and certainly make sure they get rid of any insects they see. We also have a monthly terminix service to keep the home and yard as bug-free as possible. I would like to assure you that any issues brought to our attention during our renters' stay are immediately remidied, free of charge. And if we do not hear from our renters during their stay, we assume that all is well. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience you experienced and invite you back next year with a discounted rate. Traditional Beach House with easy access to beach

I've been coming to the North End of Virginia Beach for over 50 years, and have watched the character of the houses there change greatly over the years. Used to be the houses were very compact with small rooms, low ceilings, saggy mattresses, and the barest of amenities. Part of the fun was trying to make do with some number of constraints: missing measuring cups/spoons; weirdly sized pots and pans without lids; sand in the washer; and never enough sharp knives. That was the kind of experience I figured I'd be getting with this property, and was pleasantly surprised by the property. Yes, the bedrooms are small and dark, and the kitchen is tiny, but the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the shed in the back contained a dozen beach chairs, 3-4 boogie boards, numerous umbrellas, and a Roll-O cart, all in great working order. My family gathered out on the patio for storytelling and giggling, and enjoyed quiet naps in the afternoon. Only downside I can think of is that the wifi struggled with so many devices, but the property owner reacted quickly when I inquired and was able to upgrade the bandwidth in a day.

Great quiet beach vacation in North Beach

What a wonderful location! We stayed with a family group including grandparents, parents, and kids. We brought our bikes and went for morning rides in the state park across the street. We came back and took the shaded walkway about a 1/4 of a city block from the front door over the dunes and onto the beach. If we hadn't been so tired at night, we could have driven the short distance down the road to many restaurants, mini golf, and other activities. The beach was quiet and perfect and so was the house. The family staying next door had a very upset toddler at night and were very apologetic, but we didn't hear a thing through the walls. Just a lovely vacation.

Location is great...just a few houses from the beach. Most houses were empty, as was the beach. We had it almost all to ourselves. Back deck was nice to catch some air, but the flies and mosquitoes made sure we didn't stay long :-( . Very nice gas grill. We all had private bathrooms...no sharing! Kitchen was well equipped.
