Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Garbage pick up is Wed and Fri AM. Wednesdays, the large green trashcan should be at the curb first thing in the morning on Fridays. The other trash cans can be at the curb first thing in the morning
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Absolutely NO Smoking or Vaping inside Home including Garage
Pets: Be sure to include pets in reservation, pet fees apply. All Pet waist must be bagged and disposed;
Garbage day is Tue / Fri Place garbage cans @ end of drive, w/brick ontop & return to outside of garage w/brick on top. Lots of wildlife.

Perfection in Crystal River

We felt right at home at the Crystal Mermaid. Great location. So pretty and private. Loved hearing the evening sounds. Great yard fir our pup. The interior of the home is modern and really lovely. The living room is so cozy for family time and our boys loved the ping pong. Kimberly has stocked the home with all your family will need. From kitchen ware to kayaks..this rental has all you need!

The Crystal Mermaid was perfect

We had an excellent experience with the owner of this property, very clean, pet friendly, and in a great quiet neighborhood. Close to town and the local shops with beautiful walking trails and plenty to keep us busy. The restaurants were exceptionally good and the swim with the manatees topped it off!!!! It was a perfect get away for us and we will be planning another trip in the future!!!!!

A Haven to get away from it all!

My hubby, furry friend and I all enjoyed The Mermaid Home immensely! It is located in a quiet neighborhood, and the doggy doors and fenced-in backyard made a place for our dog to enjoy our vacation as well. The home is located at the end of a dead-end street, so extremely quiet. Kim was incredibly responsive with everything we needed. We would stay longer next time!

Quiet, clean, modern and high-quality everything!

Kim was an amazing host that took my family in during the hurricane. The home was over stocked with all needs and super clean! The backyard is so relaxing, nice furniture, bonfire, with dedicated chairs, fenced in yard for your pets. All appliances are like brand new. The couch is the most comfiest in the world, communication was amazing, we will definitely be back!

Perfect in every way

You can’t get any better than The Crystal Mermaid! From the moment we arrived, Kim made us feel right at home. We loved everything about our stay. The location was perfect. Close proximity to restaurants, shops and swimming with the manatees. The house has been updated and is darling. The beds were comfy, and the couch too! Plenty of activities for the kids (cornhole, table tennis, kayaks, plenty of board games). We made so many memories in our short time there and will definitely return if ever in the area.

Home away from home

Our family enjoyed this “Home away from home” and will definitely be back! This house included everything we could have needed and more with well stocked kitchen/baths and essentials in case we forgot things like sunscreen, bug spray, ice or even a frozen pizza waiting for us. Baths were well stocked with shampoos and soaps and linens and towels. Yard was completely fenced for your furry friends and even had a garage with a pool table and washer dryer! Not much more you can ask for. Thanks again Kim!

Amazing house!

My husband and I love this home. The listing is 100% accurate. This home has everything. The location gives you a far from town feel while being close to town. This house is stocked with everything you may have forgotten. The back yard is a nice size and the fact that it’s fenced in is perfect for our dog. The house impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The owner is incredibly nice and accommodating. We come to Crystal River often, and this is our new go to house we will want to continue to stay at.

While visiting family in Florida, we fell in Love with Crystal River and all that it has to offer as well as surrounding communities. We were amazed by both the fresh water and saltwater opportunities for the outdoorsman. Quickly we noticed the "sleepy town" of Crystal River works so hard to preserve the natural beauty of the area. The countless parks, trails, and friendly community was like no other we have visited in Florida before. Recognizing the need to be closer to family in Florida, we purchased our "2nd Home", already creating memories for our family of 5. Recognizing that quality homes close to many of the attractions in the area are not plentiful, nor are hotel accommodations, we decided to share our private oasis with you.

Why they chose this property

The Crystal Mermaid was the perfect name for our little home, nestled on a private lot in a neighborhood with other homeowners. Just minutes from the eclectic downtown Crystal River, offering dining, shopping, coffee houses, and museums. So close to Pete's Pier, and other public boat ramps for the fisherman, and the amazing Springs in the Area where you can actually swim with the manatees. Our family scalloped for the first time in this year and now know what all the excitement is about!. As a scallop lover I thought I had tasted the best, UNTIL we scalloped with Captain John Beach with Allure Outfitters, cleaned our shellfish, and had them cooked for us at local establishment. Need I say more? We were hooked on the area and hope you will be too!
