Welcome to the lake! This property offers plenty of peaceful views, fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking and centrally located to the Ark, Creation Museum and plenty of restaurants and shops.

Our property has Kid and Adult Kayaks, Lake floats and life vests available for use.

Easy parking to the front door, and poured concrete steps down to the dock/lake.

The dock has plenty of room to tie off a boat and has a 25 x 12 foot covered bar area with hi-speed WiFi and smart TV.

Williamstown lake also has a full service marina with a great restaurant, live entertainment and pontoon rentals.

Our October visit was amazing! The Lakehouse was beautiful, clean and supplied with plenty of necessities. We, 4 ladies, enjoyed our time not only in the house, but also at the dock, the firepit, and the back porch. Great views, peace and serenity; all the things one needs for a reboot!! Our host was exceptional from prior to scheduling through our visit. Thank you so much Donny

Great retreat!

Perfect Stay

We came to the area for the Ark Encounter and found this place on the lake. Perfect place to stay. The house and dock and everything about it was either new or very well taken care of. Loved the use of the paddle boards and kayaks. Had a great time fishing and relaxing. The lake area was beautiful. Will recommend to friends.

Great dock and 2 bedroom

My family of 2 adults and 3 kids really enjoyed the lake amenities (fishing, swimming, kayaks). The kitchen was nicely updated and the bedrooms and bathroom had everything we needed. I would recommend this vrbo to anyone looking to enjoy a lakefront property.

Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great for going to the Ark and Creation Museum. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Kids really enjoyed the lake -fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. It was nice to have access to kayaks, floaties, paddle board, etc. If your looking for a relaxing vacation on the lake, we highly recommend this lake rental!

We appreciated Donny's quick replies to all questions we had & his willingness to share kayaks, etc. & texts of fish that were the "catch of the day" by other guests. The location was ideal to be able to get to the Ark Encounter & then get back to the fun activities at the lake (side note - driveway is very steep). Even though we only stayed a day & a half, my family enjoyed hours fishing (both day & night); listening to the sounds of nature around the lake; & watching the boats out on the main part of the lake. Donny is accurate with the amenities description on the site, but I had overlooked the cottage not having a washer/dryer on site. We were on a long road trip & had been planning on doing laundry at the different properties we stayed at. Most of the other properties we had looked at had them, so I had honestly quit looking specifically for that amenity. We made it work as our KY part of the trip was our 2nd to last stop; just something to consider if that amenity is a "deal breaker" for you (especially if you plan on doing lots of water activities & want to do laundry). I kept the 5/5 as it was not listed & it was my error for not noticing it was not available. Another "feature"/highlight not listed, but that was a wonderful surprise & certainly added to the value of this location (IMO) was being able to see both the sunrise (looking out to the lake from the dock) and the sunset (looking the opposite way from the dock) - lots of photo-ops :)

Lake days are the best days!!

This property is just as described and more. Such a charming cottage and property full of lake life fun. I was mostly impressed with the thought out details that made every inch of space so practical. Hooks and drawers in all the right places, pocket doors that make the space feel larger. Fully equipped kitchen with CLEAN fridge, stove, microwave and dishes. I do recommend looking at what they have before running to Walmart.. I bought TP, paper towels, paper products and plastic utensils, sponges for dishes, foil, lighters, etc … but they already had it all. We came in March so we did not come with the expectation of using the outdoor amenities but they were available and we did have a memorable night by the fire with our teenage boys. Donny was great to rent from. If I had to say one thing that could be improved (definitely not a deal breaker) it would be the main bedroom mattress. It was perfect for my husband, but I found it to be too firm. Plus side was the sheets and comforter were very comfortable and clean! (I’m usually the kind of person who brings my own bedding and when I don’t .. I do a full inspection before climbing in) I didn’t feel the need here and that made my OCD heart happy 😊 I bet this lake property could only be better with warmer weather. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.

The host was available and responsive before, during and after our stay. Accommodating, welcoming and a kind host. We were looking for a calm and peaceful place and we found it here. Comfy and clean cabin with a great covered deck that we enjoyed. Wildlife visited us daily.

Small space with large living

Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. Space is very small but lives well, the patio and dock are great. Master bed is a little firm so plan accordingly. If you have a long vehicle backing down the very steep driveway is recommended.

Peaceful Place to Stay

My husband and I stayed at this cabin while visiting The Ark and other attractions in the area. It was perfect for us in every way. Very quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin was very clean upon arrival. Although we did not do much cooking, it appeared all cooking utensils were provided. Donny was a wonderful host and checked with us every day to see if we needed something. This place is a 👍
