Complete cottage to yourself with a cozy upstairs bedroom, bath, living room and basics to heat up a nice meal! Close to lakes, skiing, hiking and biking trails and minutes off I68! Easy parking and access. A beautiful renovated historic building with a story and!
A beautiful outside patio area all to yourself! Take a nice little walk with easy access through the well kept meadow to our pond full of fish!

I’m not sure why the 2 out of 5 stars for rating. Feels a bit harsh. In my detailed description it mentions the bedroom and bathroom are in the second floor and that the stairs are narrow. This is no surprise or not letting people know it’s not for those that can’t do stairs. Also I have no need to bother and intrude on my guests as it’s their space for the duration of their stay…I call that boundaries and giving space. I’m sorry if you needed interaction. As for the scent I have one small plug in on the first floor that is very light and 99% of my guests comment on the non intrusive clean fresh smell. Sorry it dis not meet your standards.

The loft was just the prescription that two very tired people needed! The cozy atmosphere, and beautiful decor made it such a great place to rest. My husband loved the pond and caught so many fish! We took a few “day trips” to nearby attractions and ate at several restaurants in town, such good food!!!!

Unique accommodation in western Maryland

We only stayed one evening but were very impressed with the rental. It is a very unique space in a converted barn and is beautifully decorated. We stayed there after visiting Fallingwater and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in that region.

The loft was wonderful, would definitely recommend. Only 25 minutes to Deep Creek Lake which was beautiful! Host was very nice & answered all messages in good time. Me and my boyfriend loved the weekend getaway, don’t have any complaints.

Great privacy

The privacy in this property was great and the bed was comfortable. It was close to some good restaurants, but the buildings need to be finished with paint. It also would be nice to have a sink in the living area, not just in the bathroom.
