Family gathering to celebrate Mother’s Day and decoration day at family cemeteries in the area. Wonderful location central to Townsend with river frontage. It was perfect for our weekend. We had a great stay!
This was the best VRBO rental I have when it comes to amenities. For a large family there was plenty to do while we were there. Will definitely stay again
We loved the area and the house. It was perfect for enjoying the National Park and Cades Cove. The communication with the host was great and the check in process was easy.
Really unique and cool house design. Lots of nice features and decor. The communication was really convenient through the app. I would return and recommend to others.
Cherry Blossom Lodge was a fantastic location for our nice quiet family reunion. Great sleeping accommodations, especially the awesome bunk room! Beautiful stream running at back of property along with great fire pit - we made fires and had s’mores everynight. Very clean and owners were very responsive to all of our questions before and during our visit!
Had a wonderful, long weekend with reunion with friends. Very spacious accommodations. Within walking distance to restaurants, stores, etc in Townsend, TN. Great amenities including a hot tub, fire pit, gym, porch with comfy patio furniture and swing. Lots of board games made the stay extra fun. Great value for price.
We used the property for several counselors to stay at during our summer camp. It was perfect as we had several counselors that stayed for the entire week and several that came for a few nights. Communication was excellent and I highly recommend this property. We will be booking this property for our future camps.
plenty of room for three generations of guest.children's room had no sharp edge tables. Especially liked the private exit doors in bedroom areas and private sitting areas. walking distance to the IGA store, taco bar, and creamery. quiet and am returning next year. Kitchen and bathrooms, well stocked
We were fortunate enough to find the perfect location and home for our entire family! We had plenty of space and many choices for entertainment without having to leave the property. We enjoyed the pool table almost every evening after exploring the beautiful mountains. We lost ve this small town and recommend it to anyone looking to unplug. We had some unfortunate circumstances that were tended to very quickly by the hosts. They are very caring and responsive. We are planning our trip back in 2026.
Our family (grandparents, parents, grandkids) loved this property! Great location, fantastic grounds, plenty of space, and amazing amenities. The home was everything we needed and more! It is walking distance to the grocery and other fun spots and only 15 minutes to the Cades Cove loop entrance gate. We especially enjoyed the amazing covered patio area, shuffleboard, pool table that doubled as a large dining table, and the hot tub on a cool evening in the Smokies was the cherry on top. Great communication with owners. We had ages from 7-75, and we’d all love to come back!
I got married over Memorial Day weekend and the Riverfront Farm house could not have been more perfect! My husband's family stayed in this house over the weekend and everyone said it was perfect. There was so much room for the kids to play, great games, a huge fire pit, and we used the large grill for both sides of the family to gather and meet. We brought a volleyball net and were able to set it up on the flat yard. We also were able to rent the bardo (A beautiful cabin/barn behind the house). There are also condos walking distance to the house. And by walking distance I mean they are the next property over. Perfect for gatherings, the house and barn were beautiful, Townsend is gorgeous and we had the best weekend ever!
We stayed here with my sister's family and my mom. Perfect house- we all had a beautiful bedroom and private bathrooms. The boys loved being able to sleep in one room together. The outside gave them a lot of space to run and play. There was plenty of activities and games that the host provided. We enjoyed walking across the road to the restaurant and enjoyed the atmosphere of the outdoor seating, and went back to the taco shack and enjoyed the live music they had. We also found it handy that there was a grocery store in walking distance. A very quiet area... we felt save being outside after dark. We relaxed by the fire-pit and on the patio, all while being in the peace and quiet and beauty of the mountains.
Pictures don’t begin to give the guests what’s in store when they book at Cherry Blossom Lodge! From day one the communication was top notch! It looks like a professional decorator helped with the decor! The owner had Fall touches in every room and Christmas lights trimmed the roof. One evening, we cancelled dinner reservations so we could stay in and play the many games available to guests! We especially liked the table top shuffle board on the side porch, with the huge TV, space heater, and fire pit- we loved hanging outside on a chilly evening.
Great restaurants were within walking distance. It’s about four miles from the entrance to the Smokey Mountain National Park. We loved the area and sightseeing, but we really enjoyed just relaxing and having fun at the lodge. Great hot tub- very clean, well equipped kitchen, great kid hang out (again with a humongous tv, bean bags, and games!). We can’t wait to plan our next visit to Cherry Blossom Lodge.
The house was as-advertised: clean, large, well-equipped, and convenient to the Smoky Mountains. The hot tub and pool table were post-hike hits for our group and Jody went out of her way to ensure we were welcomed, including leaving the makings for s'mores and a birthday cake!
