About this property

Our unit features heart pine flooring throughout, a Sony 5.1 Digital Surround Sound Theater with a 60" Sony Bravia TV in the living room and a 42" Sony Bravia TV in the bedroom with bunks, Roku (Netflix, Prime, Disney+, HBO, AT&T TV, Hulu...all signed in), Wi-Fi, new appliances, tons of natural light, and an eclectic mix of comfortable designer furniture and decor.

The layout is extremely spacious, with the living room, dining area and kitchen area all connecting together without walls. There is a large porch out front, and a small one out back, from which you can see the ocean. A great place to find some solitude.

The unit is located right behind Bert's Market, which is the local 24 hour grocery store and deli so if you arrive and find you are missing something, odds are Bert's will have it, and you are only footsteps away. (We can also arrange to have your unit PRESTOCKED with groceries. Just mention it.) You are also only one block from Center St., the heart of Folly Beach's commercial district, with a great variety of shopping and delicious food.

Family with littles

We stayed here for 3 ngts with a 5, 3, and 1 year old. It was adorably styled in a beachy chic theme. Very clean and clean smelling with the exception of the floors. Not sure if the cleaning crew mops the floors in between guests because on day 1, the bottoms of our feet were pretty black from walking around the unit in our bare feet. We are not fussy people so we made do. But, other than that…it was great as far as cleanliness. The beds were dreamy! Loved the mattress and linens. Wanted to take them home with me. The location was wonderful. Short walk to the beach & restaurants. I recommend a stroller if u have a child under the age of 3. Only drawback to the unit for a family with very small children is it is on the second floor so schlepping gear & luggage up the stairs is no fun. With that said, I still would stay here again with littles. Just keep that in mind. Also, high chair on site!!! And fun little extras for kids (and adults too ;)) throughout including Disney +….huge win for the downtimes. Enjoyed our stay tremendously. Definitely recommend.

Omar & Julia are year round Folly Beach residents. Besides managing their rental properties, they own and operate Bert's Market, the only grocery store on Folly Beach. They have 3 daughters and two sons. We love traveling our beautiful country camping along the way as well as riding atv's, surfing, kayaking, painting ect. Omar and the children are also passionate about music, with Omar operating the recording studio, Fairweather in Charleston.
