Step into serenity at Cartecay Island Cabin, where the river flows just steps from your door—and your very own island awaits. Whether you're soaking in the hot tub, exploring the private island, or relaxing on the screened porch, your peaceful mountain escape begins the moment you arrive.

Inside, you’ll find everything you need for comfort and connection—from a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and a stocked coffee bar, to cozy living spaces with flat-screen TVs, a gas log fireplace, and a full-house music system that plays inside and out.

Looking for fun? Head upstairs to the loft game zone with giant bean bags, a pool/foosball table, puzzles, and retro gaming—perfect for kids or the kid-at-heart.

Outdoors, the options are endless:
• Lounge on the screened porch with a drink from the mini-fridge
• Swing gently in the hammock chairs under the deck
• Soak in the hot tub with river sounds in the background
• Cross the bridge to your private island and sit by the river
• Roast s’mores around the fire pit (wood not provided)
• Plug in your EV with the on-site charger
• Or simply listen to the river as you unwind in a rocking chair

- Quiet time is 10pm - 8am
- 7 person maximum
- All guests must be 25+ (with the exception of children with their parents).
- 2-3 vehicle maximum
- Pets are not allowed. You will be charged a $500 penalty fee if you bring a pet.
- The hot tub is for guests 25 and over only. Alcohol and glass is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK!
- No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control.

Extremely clean place, it was exactly as shown in the photos, centrally located and a quick drive to everything. Beautiful inside and was a very relaxing place to stay . The bridge and private island was very nice. It was very comfy and perfect! Highly recommend 💯

First and foremost, I highly recommend staying at Deals! Riverfront Island! Heather is the best host! If I could have given her more stars, I definitely would Our trip was cut short due to the extreme winter storm. Heather was in touch with us from the time the warning was issued. She wanted to make sure that we were aware of storm coming. She let us know of the items that she had at the house that may come in handy with any snow and possible power outage. She even let us know that if we were unable to checkout at the time/date we were scheduled, she would work with us until it was safe for us to leave. Unfortunately, we decided to leave early so that we would be able to get back home. If I wasn't worried about getting back home safely, I would have loved to be stuck at this cabin. It was absolutely beautiful. She thought of absolutely everything one might need or want while staying here. My daughter and her friend were able to take a short hike. Since we cut our trip short, we didn't get to anywhere in Elijay. I think that I would have been perfectly fine hanging out at the cabin. There are plenty of activities to do at the cabin and the views are absolutely beautiful. I will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with my family. The stay was so wonderful, we asked to extend our trip an extra night. My husband and I loved sitting on the porch listening to the river. My kids loved the porch swings and the game room! We cooked several meals in the house and had every utensil/appliance/pot/pan you could think of! One of the most well appointed kitchens I have used in a rental. Very convenient to Blue Ridge and Ellijay! Will be coming back!

Amazing home

The home was clean and had all the amenities one would need. The location was quite and relaxing. There are numerous places to relax and enjoy the surroundings. There are plenty of local restaurants in area and plenty of things to do and see as well. From apple picking to state parks with beautiful views, the area has it all. We were fortunate enough to go the Amicalola falls on Monday morning and had the falls to ourselves. Absolutely amazing. We would definitely come back to this home.
