SEPTIC: Our cottage is on a smaller septic system than average and we ask that you please be considerate with water usage and what goes down any drains. Only decomposable toilet paper. DO NOT flush: baby wipes, hand sanitizing wipes, paper towels, tampons, q-tips, etc. Laundry cannot be run at the same time other fixtures are being used. Showers and dishwashing times should be kept to a reasonable amount to not overstretch the system limits. Service calls are $500 + remediation ($200/hr) + HST for excessive use or unauthorized items being flushed. The tank and system are checked upon every guest check out.
PARKING: the property has a designated easement running through so we provide a parking guide to ensure cars are parked in appropriate locations. Please do not park in any other locations.
PETS: We do allow your furry family members for an additional fee of $120/stay/pet for additional cleaning services required. We ask though that you keep your pets clean when entering the cottage and keep them off furniture and beds. Couch stains can cost $100 up to $2000 for replacement + remediation ($200/hr) + HST.
ADDITIONAL GUESTS: The Cottage comfortably sleeps 8 but we allow up to 10 guests with an extra charge and offer a blow-up mattress on site if needed. Any additional guests are $35/night/guest.
GARBAGE: Trash and recycling must be taken with guests upon check out. Gravenhurst offers local dump drop-off locations minutes away which we provide directions and details if needed.
SAUNA: Guests are responsible for supplying their own fire starting materials (ex. Wood & paper).
CONSUMABLES: We provide enough to get you started including toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, bathing supplies, laundry soap, olive oil & some spices. However, we do recommend bringing additional supplies so you don't run out.
CLEANING: cleaning fee provides cleaning of kitchen, bathroom, counters/sink, floors, and change of linens/towels. Guests are responsible for putting things away where they were found, garbage/recycling clean up (including the fridge), washing dishes, spills, loading/unloading laundry machines. Please be respectful and do not leave trash and items everywhere.
CLOTHING: don't forget to bring long thin layered clothing and lots of bug spray to fend off pesky insects.
Firewood: The firepit and sauna are available for guests use, and firewood can be purchased locally. However, wood is not provided on-site. It's suggested to also bring kindling/fire starter/newspaper. Use at your own risk.
Drinking Water: water in taps is potable, however, we do have a water dispenser in the kitchen. Water jugs must be brought and taken by guests at the end of the stay.
Shallow water off the dock so please be cautious when jumping in and swim at your own risk. In the Spring the area in front of the dock can be quite wet so we recommend bringing some time of water proof boots in case of heavy rainfall.
There are exterior security cameras at the front (2) and back (1) of the cottage to monitor for any intruders (including unwelcomed hungry animals), potential damage, and guest numbers.
There are noise sensors installed inside and outside of the property. This is to ensure that you and the neighbours are both protected from appropriate noise levels in cottage country. Decibel readers are also located on site, however these devices do NOT record any audio.
Guests are responsible for leaving property and amenities in the condition in which they found them. This includes putting away all watersports equipment, indoor and outdoor chairs, activities, games, and books. The space, including: the fridge and dishes must be left in the condition in which they were found, cleaned, and put away.
House rules/rental conditions are provided upon booking and must be signed before the stay. We ask that you respect and follow all rules/conditions. Any non-host-related issue or emergencies including guest damages and service needed when guests do not follow rules will incur a guest cost for replacement or repair + remediation ($200/hr) + HST.
Property is private to our guests hidden from neighbors by forestation. The small roadway can be viewed off the dock and a small easement runs through the property to allow a handful of others to access their cottages

Hassle and contact free check in & check out using your own personal door access code via remote lock at the back door. Keys can be found inside the cottage and front door also features a keyed deadbolt.
Snow clearing for roadway is provided by township. Snow removal for driveway is managed by our team during winter months.
Garage, cleaning closet and crawl space of cottage are off limits to guests.

WIFI services are available in the cottage and the dock area does get strong cell service.
The base guest count is 8, maximum of 10 guests allowed. (Guests 9 & 10 are additional per night fee of $35/night/guest).
Parking for 5-6 vehicles max in designated areas only. (1-2) smaller cars in front of the garage, (1-2) cars in front of the cottage, and (1-3) cars on the gravel to the left when facing the cottage. The easement must remain clear and a parking map is provided to make it easy for you.

- Enjoy the water with our stocked water sports include: (1) paddle board, (1) canoe, (1) paddleboat, oars, and other watersport accessories can be found stored under the cottage. Various life jackets are available too, Safety first!

The kitchen is completely stocked and equipped. Including: water dispenser (jugs not included), utensils/cutlery, plates/bowls, outdoor plates, cups/glassware, pots/pans, baking ware, tupperware, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, blender, toaster and basic condiments and spices. Children's supplies include: a high chair, booster seat, place mats, bibs, cups, cutlery, plates, and bowls.
Open living room and dining room offer a massive U-shaped couch with 65" TV including satellite cable, Netflix & HBO. Large Windows to view the waterfront and a stunning wooden dining set with 8 seats (extra chairs available).
#1 Master Bedroom includes a queen bed, (1) set of bunk beds, computer station with monitor/keyboard/mouse, walk-in closet, walkout deck, (2) dressers, pillows & linens.
#2 Bedroom includes a queen bed, closet, (1) dresser, pillows & linens.
#3 Bedroom includes a double bed, closet, pillows & linens.
3-Piece bathroom includes a rain head shower spout, wand, and tub filler in a deep tub to have relaxing showers or baths.
Laundry room is accessible through the backdoor mudroom and includes complimentary detergent and dryer sheets. We ask that you please do not run laundry cycles while using any other water fixtures.
